First Impression: Innisfree Apple Juicy Cleansing Oil and Liquid Foaming Cleanser

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about the Innisfree Apple Juicy Cleansing Oil and Liquid Foaming Cleanser! I haven't heard much about these from other bloggers, but I needed to take a cleansing oil and cleanser away on a weekend trip so these fit the bill perfectly!

What Does It Do?
Cleansing Oil
"A deep-cleansing oil for smooth and healthy skin 1. This gentle cleansing oil simultaneously removes make up, dirt, and sebum.
2. The easy-to-rinse formula does not leave an oily residue.
3. Enjoy the sweet and sour scent of apples!

Free from: mineral oil, animal-originated ingredients, synthetic colourants, and imidazolidinyl urea
How to use
Gently apply oil on dry skin, wet your fingers, and massage the oil into your skin. Rinse off the oil with lukewarm water.

Apple ingredients for skin as radiant as the surface of a beautifully polished apple: The Apple Juicy Cleansing line will satisfy your skin with the fresh feeling of deep cleansing and healthy radiance. Restore your skin's apple-like shine simply by cleansing.

Ingredients:
CETYL ETHYLHEXANOATE, TRIETHYLHEXANOIN, POLYGLYCERYL-10 DIOLEATE, HYDROGENATED POLY(C6-14 OLEFIN), PEG-8 GLYCERYL ISOSTEARATE, CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE, PENTAERYTHRITYL TETRAISOSTEARATE, PENTAERYTHRITYL TETRAETHYLHEXANOATE, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, HYDROGENATED POLYISOBUTENE, CYCLOHEXASILOXANE, PYRUS MALUS (APPLE) FRUIT EXTRACT, CITRUS UNSHIU PEEL EXTRACT, ORCHID EXTRACT, CAMELLIA SINENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, CAMELLIA JAPONICA LEAF EXTRACT, OPUNTIA COCCINELLIFERA FRUIT EXTRACT, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, FRAGRANCE" (1)
This oil has a general oil texture and smells heavily of apple candies! I found that I had to use quite a lot of oil to dissolve my mascara, though it did dissolve easily when with a second layer of oil. I didn't have to scrub at my lashes or brows which is a good sign for me (no unnecessary eye wrinkles!) but I didn't think it dissolved my make up as quickly as the Shiseido Senka Perfect Oil that I'm currently using. It doesn't feel drying for my skin or irritating. (Excuse the souless expression, it wasn't a happy day).

Liquid Foaming Cleanser
"A liquid, deep-cleansing foam that gives your skin a smooth and healthy glow
1. Rich, delicate bubbles interact for effective, deep cleansing.
2. Organic acids and vitamins from apples remove dead cells from the surface of skin and open pores for effective, deep cleansing.
3. Enjoy the sweet and sour scent of apples!

How to use
Squeeze some foam into your hands and create a lather. Massage the foam into your face and rinse it off with lukewarm water.

Ingredients:
WATER, GLYCERIN, LAURIC ACID, SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE, MYRISTIC ACID, POTASSIUM HYDROXIDE, ACRYLATES COPOLYMER, PYRUS MALUS (APPLE) FRUIT EXTRACT, CITRUS UNSHIU PEEL EXTRACT, CAMELLIA SINENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, ORCHID EXTRACT, CAMELLIA JAPONICA LEAF EXTRACT, OPUNTIA COCCINELLIFERA FRUIT EXTRACT, LAVANDULA ANGUSTIFOLIA (LAVENDER) FLOWER WATER, HAMAMELIS VIRGINIANA (WITCH HAZEL) LEAF EXTRACT, DISODIUM EDTA, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE, POTASSIUM COCOYL GLYCINATE, PHENOXYETHANOL, SODIUM BENZOATE, METHYLISOTHIAZOLINONE, METHYLCHLOROISOTHIAZOLINONE, FRAGRANCE"(2)
This cleanser has a PH level of 7.5 which is a little high. (Source) It has a very thin, gel like texture and is really easy to foam in my hands and on my face (though the bubbles do pop quite easily and quickly). It makes my skin feel very clean, though it doesn't feel tight. It does make my skin look a little shiny which I don't particularly like, but I guess it's what the cleanser claims to do anyway!
Would I Purchase This Product?
No. I don't think the cleansing oil is a bad product at all and I might actually consider grabbing it when I run out of the 10million other Cleansing Oils that I own, but at the moment I just don't need another Oil (though it does smell amazing!). I don't like the cleanser that much because it does have a higher PH level and it actually makes my skin look shiny which is really weird. At the moment I'm favouring non foaming cleansers anyway, but this cleanser is still quite nice!

I would recommend either of these products for Princesses that want a product that smells heavily of sweet apple candy! ^ ^

  1. I've only tried the apple juicy lip&eye (makeup) remover and was terribly disappointed that it did not smell at all of apples, which i had been looking forward to.
