Fail or Holy Grail Review: Revitalash Advanced

Hello Princesses!
Today I'm going to be talking about the Revitalash Advanced! This is a very well known product for conditioning eyelashes and helping them grow long and lovely. It's really no surprise to me that this has become a Holy Grail for me since it is so widely loved, but I do wish it was cheaper because lets be honest, it is a pricey product.
"Enhance the look of luxurious eyelashes for dramatic, natural beauty.
This finely-calibrated breakthrough cosmetic formula addresses the visual signs of eyelash aging and stress – dry, brittle, lifeless lashes.

A proprietary blend of scientifically-advanced technology and natural botanicals join in concert to protect against breakage and brittleness and improve flexibility, moisture, and shine for more dramatic-looking eyelashes.

Daily use provides immediate conditioning benefits; leading to healthier-looking, more luxurious lashes."(1)
This lash serum is housed in an elegant, simple tube. It's clear in colour and very easy to apply. You simply swipe the serum across the base of your eyelashes once a day until you reach the desired quality of eyelashes. I prefer to use this serum in the morning because I sleep on my face and don't want to waste any by conditioning my pillow.
It can take up to 3 months to get the desired result, but after one month I am really pleased by what I see!
I definitely see more thickness in my lashes and a little extra length. I don't want super spidery lashes, so the thickness is definitely welcome!
Over the month of using this serum I also noticed a substantial reduction in eyelash fall.
Less eyelash fall is great for me, because I get less eyelashes in my eyes. I did find that my eyelids were a little pink while using the serum and the skin was a little itchy. Nothing awful though!
This product also claims to curl the lashes too and thought I see a slight lift in my lashes over a month, it's nothing extreme.
It's also so hard to get a photos where you look in exactly the same place.
I also used any excess revitalash on my lower lashes. I didn't want to use too much on my lower lashes as it can cause excess hair to grow around your eyelids and it certainly did grow hair for me even though I only used a tiny amount!
There is a little extra length to my lower lashes, but nothing amazing.
The difference is a little more dramatic with mascara.

The length is slightly longer, but the volume has definitely improved.
 What I Love
- Easy to use
- Gives me longer, thicker eyelashes

What I Don't Love
- Very expensive
- Makes my eyelids slightly red and a little itchy to begin with

Final Thoughts
I really enjoy using Revitalash Advanced and I think it does work well for my eyelashes. I have no intention of growing super long spidery lashes as I don't like the look for myself, but I really wanted to have thicker, more healthy looking lashes and I think this does product does a great job at providing that. I like the way my lashes look without mascara now, they're definitely noticeable and nice looking, whereas before they were a little thin and weak looking. The results are small, but I'm going to keep using this serum and give you guys an update in a couple of months too!

I would recommend Revitalash Advanced to any Princesses wanting longer, more luscious eyelashes.

  1. When you're done the tube i'd be interested in a comparison with the DHC lash tonic which is way cheaper (50 shades of snail calls it HG)
