Review: LUSH Feeling Younger Skin Tint

Hello Princesses!
Today I'm going to be talking about LUSH's Feeling Younger Skin Tint! This tint is recommended for Princesses wanting that MAC Strobe Cream Glow, but don't want to support companies that test on animals or want a cheaper product.
"Mix a little in with your favourite moisturiser or colour supplement. Or apply a thin layer between your moisturiser and colour supplement to brighten skin tone. Apply the product on the brow bone, cheek bone, eyelid, cupid’s bow or collar bone. This reflects the light from the skin to make it glow. Apply a little underneath the eye to cover dark circles.

Oatmeal Decoction (Avena sativa), Orange Flower Water (Citrus Aurantium amara), Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis), Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao), Glycerine, Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis), Titanium Dioxide, Stearic Acid, Triethanolamine, Cetearyl Alcohol, CI77019, Methylparaben, Propylparaben"(1)

This Skin Tint comes housed in a little screw top jar which is the same for all of LUSH's cosmetics and I don't find this the most hygienic for packaging since I need to dip my fingers into the product, or purchase a little cosmetic spatula.
The Skin Tint itself is a thick white cream that is quite reflective, though it doesn't look it in the jar.
The tint itself is quite thick and I find it slightly difficult to spread on my face. It gives my skin a little bit of extra luminosity, though it isn't glittery or shimmery.
When applied on my bare skin, it makes my skin look luminous. It does accentuate my pores a little, but it's not horrible.
You can't see any glitter or shimmer on my bare skin which I like!
But when make up is applied over the top of it, it just looks awful.
Applied under make up it looks awful too. No matter what foundation, BB Cream or powder I use with this Skin Tint it just looks cakey, flakey and just plain awful. I have tried this about a million different times with different formulas, different application techniques and different setting powders, but each time it creates an awful cakey, cracked base that is far from the smooth luminous skin I originally had.

What I Love
- Quite inexpensive at about $20NZD
- Cruelty Free
- Creates a beautiful glow on bare skin

What I Don't Love
- Looks just awful over make up
- Looks awful under makeup
- Is a little too luminous for me to wear alone

Final Thoughts
Although I initially enjoy this skin tint, it just applies awfully over or under makeup. I've never had a product disturb make up as much as this does, I'm not sure what it is about it, but it really looks quite awful! I love the initial finish, but it's a little too luminous in real life for my liking. It's great that it's cruelty free, but in all honesty the MAC Strobe Cream works better for me.

I would recommend the LUSH Feeling Younger Skin Tint for any Princesses looking for a Cruelty Free luminous skin tint!
