Provided for Review: Tosowoong Makeon Princess Limited Edition Eyeliners #3

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about the Tosowoong Makeon Princess Gel Eye Liners! These are limited edition eye liner packs come in super cute Princess themed tins and I was so excited to try these eye liners out since they look like amazing colours for the Autumn season. These eye liners were kindly provided for review by Roseroseshop, who I have been shopping with since 2012!

"Express elegant and attractive eye makeup with bronze colors. Apply blonde color under eyes and it will make your eyes look much bigger and softer. Appeal to everyone with sunshine color on your special day or event.
How to use
1. Before applying eyeliner, remove grease on eye area with shadow or powder
2. Close your eyes and draw eyeline 2-3 times
3. Extend the tail of eye line based on your preference
4. Draw lines under eyes 2-3 times gently.
* Sharpen up to use by sharpener

 #01 Dark brown / #02 Glam brown / #03 Deep bronze / #04 Blond / #11 Sun shine"(1)
These pencils come in a super cute tin and I really like that the outside packaging of each colour shows the inside colour quite realistically. These pencils are a little shorter than what I'm used to purchasing, though I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing as I'm more likely to use the whole pencil up before it expires.
There are five beautiful shades in this collection, and they all give me a very autumnal vibe! In general, all of the gel pencils have a lovely formula, they glide across the eyelids without tugging and have a quite vibrant colour payoff. These are not that blendable, so they are difficult to use as eye shadow bases, but it does mean that they are more smudge proof

#1 Dark Brown

Dark Brown is a beautifully rich, cool toned town.
This shade is gorgeous for lining my upper lash line, but my favourite use for this shade is on the outer half of my lower lash line. I think it looks the most natural on my skin tone and blends in really well with the brown Dolly Wink Liquid Liner.

#02 Glam brown

Glam Brown is a warm toned brown shade

I quite like this shade to line my upper eyelid, but it's not one of my go to colours. It's a little to red/warm toned for me to use on a daily basis, but I do still really love the colour! This application looks a little patchy, but you don't really see that in real life!

#03 Deep bronze

Deep bronze is a lovely deep bronze shade. I'm not sure how else to describe this one!

I adore this shade on my lower lashline, I think it looks gorgeous and it's great for an autumnal look!
#04 Blond

Blonde is a sparkly, yellow gold shade
I use this shade to line my inner, lower lashline, but I find that because this shade has quite big glitter particles, it's really quite hard to use because it tugs really badly. It's also not nearly as vibrant on the eye as it is on the swatch and it's not a shade I get too much use out of.

#11 Sun shine

Sunshine is a vibrant orange shade
This shade is so vibrant and it's not a colour I would usually choose to wear since it is so bright and glittery!
These pencils don't work the best in the waterline since the colour payoff isn't nearly as vibrant, it looks a little funny. To be honest, this doesn't bother me at all since I dislike these types of colours in my waterline anyway (and the glitter freaks me out a little bit!) but it is something to think about!

What I Love
- Lovely, vibrant colour payoff
- Super cute packaging
- Easy to apply and smudge
- Pretty good longevity on moderately oily eyelids

What I Don't Love
- Quite expensive at $34USD
- Tugs the undereye area slightly
- Not effective on waterline

Final Thoughts
I really love the idea of this collection of pencils, in general they are all really wearable and easy to use, but some of these shades are not everyday shades for me which is totally OK. I still think the more adventurous shades like the orange and yellow shades are beautiful, but they aren't colours I reach for in comparison to the browns! I also think the tin is super cute, especially to utilise afterwards when the pencils won't fit into the little grooves any more. These wee pencils are also a great gift idea since they come in themed colours, this set is especially good for Autumn!

I would recommend these eye liners for any Princesses that like a smooth textured, but bold coloured eye liner!

  1. Those colors are all so pretty! But I can see why some of them wouldn't be good for everyday looks. I love the cute packaging :)
