Review: The Body Shop Tea Tree Collection

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be reviewing The Body Shop's Tea Tree Skincare range! ^^ Unfortunately I cannot afford all of the items in the set, but I have quite a few, and a couple more on my wish list!
My skin is pretty gross in my opinion, so showing you guys such detail is a little embarrassing, but if I can help someone with similar problems to me, it'll be all worth it!

Here are some of the key problems with my skin:
Large pores
Congested pores/blackheads
Acne breakouts (hormonal)
Acne scarring
Redness and uneven skin tone

The Body Shop says:
Prone to blemishes, blackheads and oily skin? Tea tree is nature’s alternative to harsh ingredients, with Community Fair Trade organic tea tree oil, clinically proven to give clearer skin from one week. The range also uses tamanu oil extract which is reputed to help generate new tissue and improve the healing process for skin. So say goodbye to shine and hello to clear skin!

This is what my skin looks like after a day without makeup. My nose is pretty grossly congested, while my chin is very scarred and my cheeks are uneven in colour. If you want a better look go ahead and click on any of the pictures. If you are a little queasy, it's probably not the best idea to enlarge the pictures! :3
First off I use the Tea Tree Blackhead Exfoliating Wash. I use this two to three times a week, although The Body Shop assistants assured me that it is gentle enough to use every day if I want to.
The Exfoliating Wash is incredibly creamy with very few exfoliating stones. I don't believe it's particularly effective in unclogging pores, but it does do a decent cleansing job.
Next up is the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash. This foaming facial wash is very gentle on the skin, but effective in cleansing.
The Facial Wash looks green in the bottle but seems clear on my fingers and skin! The foam is nice and light and seems to do a good job making my pores seem a little cleaner.
The Tea Tree Face Mask is the next step in the Tea Tree Skincare range. I use this mask once or twice a week. The face mask claims to instantly cool and lift away impurities.
I felt that once I had applied the mask it heated up a fairly uncomfortable amount, but cooled down and shrunk to the skin. It leaves my skin feeling very clean and oil free.
I didn't buy the toner because I love my Shiseido Toner, so the next step for me is to use the Tea Tree Oil on any blemishes. This stings a little if used on open blemishes, but its fine and seems to help the swelling and redness go down.
The last step in my Skincare routine is the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion.
This is probably my favorite item out of the range! The lotion is moisturizing but not oily or greasy in any way. I struggle to find moisturizers that make my skin feel soft and moisturized without making my face oily and slippery. This is a product I would definitely purchase again!
Here is a comparison of my skin before and after cleansing. Unfortunately I forgot to take photo's of my skin before I started this regime, but it has improved! Not dramatically, but an improvement nonetheless!
(This photo looks airbrushed but it hasn't been. There is a problem with the upload, it will be fixed soon! ^^)

There isn't a huge difference in the before and after photo's. The Tea Tree Skin care range does almost nothing for my blackheads, but it does help clear up any existing blemishes and help prevent further attatcks. I wouldn't say this is my Holy Grail of skin care products, but the Skin Clearing Lotion is pretty high up there!

Have you guys tried this skin care range before? Are there any products that you think I should trial next?
