Provided for Review: J:Dew Green Moist Toner and Essence

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about the J:Dew Green Moist Toner and Essence! These products were kindly provided for review by Q-Depot!

Q-Depot sent me this beautiful box of J:Dew skincare! This includes four full sized items and two travel sized items.
"J:DEW Green Moist Toner
This moisturizing toner cools and moisturizes your skin instantly without stickiness, giving a smooth texture to your skin.

Organic aloe vera and green tea from the clean soil of Jeju Island effectively sooth irritated skin and moisturize the deeper layers of skin. This adenosine-containing toner also helps reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles.

6-Free system ensures that none of the following ingredients are found in our products parabens, mineral oils, animal derivatives, artificial aromas, artificial colorings, and benzophenone. Thus, our products are safe for even very sensitive skin.

How to use:

After washing your face, soak a cotton pad with this toner and gently wipe your skin with it. For extra moisture, pour some onto your palms and gently press onto your face."(1)
This Toner is housed in an elegant green plastic bottle with a pump top. This does come with a little protector to stop the pump leaking during transit which I appreciate!
This toner is clear in colour, and thin in texture. It smells like lavender which I love, it's so soothing and definitely adds to the enjoyment of using for me.

This is a very lightweight toner, I think this would be perfect for use in the summer when I want light hydration that won't overwhelm my slightly oily skin. I do need a little something extra during the winter when my skin is drier, though since it is lightweight, it makes it perfect for layering with other products.
J:DEW Green Moist Essence
This essence goes on like a refreshing burst of water, immediately giving moisture and energy to your skin cells. It provides long-lasting moisture and smoothness.

Organic aloe vea and green tea from the clean soil of Jeju Island effectively moisturize the skin from the deeper layers. This adenosine-containing essence also helps reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles, returning firmness to your skin.

Moisturizing shea butter nourishes and moisturizes your skin, turning pigmented and rough skin into rejuvenated and radiant skin. Antioxidants from the broccoil extract protect your skin from further damage and return the healthy tone and radiance of your skin.

Our 6-free system ensures that none of the following ingredients are found in our products;parabens, mineral oils, animal derivatives, artificial aromas, artificial colorings, and benzophenone. Thus, our products are safe for even very sensitive skin.

How to use:

After toner, apply 2-3pumps gently onto your skin."(2)
This Essence has the same packaging as the toner, though it is much smaller! It also features a pump top with a protector for travelling.
The essence has an interesting milky colour and is very thin in texture. It spreads out to a very watery consistency which makes it easy to apply and quick to absorb.
This Essence provides my skin with light hydration and doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky or heavy. Because of this, I feel like it is a better option for me during Summer, as I do prefer slightly heavier skincare during winter as my skin does get dry. Like the Toner, because it does absorb quickly it makes it ideal to layer with other products, which makes it much easier to incorporate into my routine during winter. My skin does feel plumper after using this Essence, especially around the eye area!
What I Love
- Beautiful packaging
 - No animal ingredients
- Super soothing Lavender scent
- Easy to apply
- Quick to absorb/dry down
- Plumps up some of the fine lines

What I Don't Love
- Too light to be used during winter without extra help

Final Thoughts
So far I really like this skincare line! To be honest, I do think I'm a little bias towards it because my Mum used to use Lavender scented skincare, and it does make me feel nostalgic while using it. But if the scent makes me happy, that's not a bad thing at all! I think these two items from the range are ideal for me to use during Summer as they are a little too light on the hydration side to be used alone for me during Winter, though since they are very light and absorb quickly, it is easy for me to add other more hydrating layers to my skincare too. These products pretty much do exactly what they claim to in the product description too, claiming to moisturise the skin and plump up fine lines and firming the skin.

I really like this line so far, and have the two other products to review next week! ^ ^
