Store Review: Roseroseshop

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with Roseroseshop! I shop with RRS almost every single time I make orders online. I really wish they would open a loyalty club or reward system so that I could accumulate some sort of vouchers because they are one of the only stores that don't offer loyalty rewards.

Website Practicality
I find RRS very practical and pleasing to shop with. Aesthetically it is nice and clear, there is no excessive crowding of advertisements or anything which is calming for me. I find it easy to find products, but if I was to be very picky, I would love it if they added some different search functions so that I could sort both by brand as well as type of product. It's hard to look for and Etude House base product because you can either sort for Etude House, or base products, but not both at the same time.

Store Review: Testerkorea

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with Testerkorea! I have been shopping with Testerkorea more and more often recently, especially since they introduced the S Point system where you can choose your own samples! However, there are some things that annoy me when I shop with them.

Website Practicality
Testerkorea's website is very practical, it's aesthetically fairly pleasing, though I find their side banners to be a little invasive and not helpful. It is very easy to search for products, add them to my cart and check out, however I find their customer service to be lacking. The past two orders have been delayed due to trouble sourcing items. Generally this would not be an issue if they let me know, but when I email them after a week to ask for an update, the first time they lied to me and said they were going to ship the products immediately (then reversed that statement and said they had already been shipped and just hadn't updated the tracking) and the second time they clearly knew the item wasn't in stock and just hadn't really gotten around to telling me that they would have to refund me. This unnecessarily delays the shipping which really annoys me.

Store Review: Cosmetic Love

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with Cosmetic Love! I used to shop with Cosmetic Love quite a lot, but the more I bought the more I strayed away from shopping with them since their prices were higher. The charm with Cosmetic Love was that the shipping was free, however they have recently changed their shipping policy so that now you must pay by weight. I was interested to see if the core prices on Cosmetic Love had dropped to reflect the increase of the new shipping price.

Website Practicality
Cosmetic Love still has a lovely website, though it does have some frustrating features. The drop down tabs are incredibly sensitive and big, it can be hard to move the mouse around the screen without making the drop down tabs actually drop down. However, it is easy to search for the products I wanted, add them to my cart and check out.

Store Review: Sehoon_Yolo Mall

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with Sehoon_Yolo Mall. I was incredibly cautious in deciding to shop with this store as they don't have amazing feedback on their facebook page, but there were also some good responses from customers, so I decided to empty out my cart of $200, and just purchase two small items instead.

Website Practicality
I found this website fairly easy to navigate, though there are a lot of other categories that I'm not interested in. I do wish there was a better way to filter products, you can only filter by brand and then by price. However I found it easy to create an account, fill my cart and check out.

Store Review: Nashi Lab

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with Nashi Lab! Nashi Lab was recently advertised to me via Facebook as a New Zealand based Korean Beauty store, and although NZ based stores are usually  a little more expensive and limited in terms of product range, it's great to support them when you can!

Website Practicality
There are a few aspects that I like about the Nashi Lab website, and a few that could use some improvement. The biggest improvement for me would be adding Paypal as a payment option. The reason being is that I generally don't carry my credit card with me, and am quite lazy about getting up and getting it. It also helps me to track purchases so I would really like a Paypal option. There is also no login for this site, which means that if you delete your emails, there is no way to track your purchases through a loyalty on their site, and of course no loyalty rewards in place for regular shoppers. However, the website is very aesthetically pleasing and easy to browse, they have a nice selection of cult faves as well as some great brands that are quite hard to find elsewhere in NZ such as Beauty of Joseon, Cremorlab and Make Pr:em.
Oh. I lied, turns out you can make an account and I might actually be blind. I'm not sure why it didn't prompt me to create a log in or give me the option to create an account through the check out process, I'm annoyed at myself as well as the website for not prompting me to make a log in. But mostly annoyed at my blindness/stupidity. Ugh.

Store Review: Yesstyle

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with Yesstyle! I haven't actually shopped with Yesstyle for quite a while now, but I noticed that they had one of the Benton Essences for a super duper cheap price, so I was tempted into a purchase with them!

Website Practicality
Yesstyle is a very practical website to browse, it's easy to find everything I want and the search bar works really well. I already had an account, but I still found it easy to find the items I want, add them to my cart and check out.

Store Review: Vuty Designs

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with Vuty Design! Vuty Design is based in Korea and sells Korean products for a pretty competitive price!

Website Practicality
Vuty Design has a very interesting website, it's very easy to navigate, you can search for specific products, search by brand, or type of product. The website aesthetic isn't for me, I think the font of the brand annoys me a little and I'm not sure why, it just doesn't look like a serious website so I underestimated how good their prices were. It was easy to create an account, fill my cart and check out.

Store Review: Althea

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with Althea! I actually accidentally spent a lot of time shopping the Malaysian site because that's the first website that comes up when you google Althea. However I later found the US site which is the one that lets you actually ship internationally. Duh.

Website Practicality
I found Althea's website quite aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate. It was very easy to create an account, fill my cart and checkout.

Store Review: Adam Beauty

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with Adam Beauty! Adam Beauty is a Hong Kong based beauty store that stocks a great range of Japanese Beauty products as well as some European and Korean brands. I've avoided shopping there so far because the website is SO confusing to use and quite frankly seemed unsafe, but I decided to give it a go because it had the mascara I wanted.

Website Practicality
The website is ... difficult to navigate. It takes quite a lot of guesswork because some of the brands are only under parent company names (like Heroine make is under the parent brand Isehan) and the search bar isn't very good. Basically I start off in the Japan Brand sidebar and then choose the parent company. From then, I can tab across the sub brands down the left side, and the across the top for the basic type of make up. The product selection will appear as a little scrolling bar to the left, and you can click a type of product and choose a shade from within there. It's a bizarre layout. There is also no way to create an account, which seems majorly dodgy! However you can pay through Paypal which offers a little safety. It is easy to add items to the cart, but if you want to remove them you have to zero out the quantity. It's annoying to browse for sure.

Store Review: Paula's Choice

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with Paula's Choice AU! I've been eyeing up some of the products from Paula's Choice for quite a while now, and I finally decided to pull the trigger and purchase something from the range!

Website Practicality
Paula's Choice AU website is clean and sterile, everything is black, grey or white. It's not my aesthetic, but I guess since Paula is a Dermatologist she probably isn't too much into all the frills and extras. However, it was easy to create a login, find my items, fill my cart and check out.

Store Review: EyeCandy's

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with EyeCandy's! I have been stalking EyeCandy's website for quite a while now because they stock the Lilmoon lenses, but I've not bought from them before for a reason.

Website Practicality
I find the EyeCandy's website aesthetically pleasing and it's easy to navigate. I found it easy to create a login, fill my cart and checkout. My only issue with this website was with the LilMoon lenses which is one of the reasons I wanted to shop here. With the Lilmoon lenses they list them at a certain price, but when you choose your prescription the price bumps up by at least $10USD when you choose your prescription. I've never come across this random price increase, so I asked Eyecandy's what it was about. They reported that the prescription was the reason for the price increase, but in all honesty, the LilMoon lenses are listed for the initial base price elsewhere without the increase for the prescriptions.

Store Review: AliExpress

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with AliExpress! Don't worry, I didn't purchase any counterfeit make up and skincare, only shoes and clothing! I've never shopped with AliExpress before because I am always a little wary of these sorts of sites!

Website Practicality
I found AliExpress easy to navigate, but it is really difficult to track down specific items because there is just soo much out there. Other than having to trawel through thousands of wedges, it was easy to create an account, fill my cart and checkout. I wish they would let me use Paypal though!

Store Review: Jolse

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with Jolse! I haven't shopped with Jolse for 2 years because even though the prices are good I just hate the website soo much.

Website Practicality
I still hate the website, but at least they've gotten rid of a lot of the side bars. The side bars still flick down the page as you scroll which is annoying, but they're substantially less annoying than before. The site still logs you out after being inactive for 5mins (like if I go and make a coffee, or go to the bathroom) and the password is still obnoxiously long and complicated. Otherwise, it was easy to fill my cart and check out.

Store Review: BeautyBoxKorea/BBK

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with BeautyBoxKorea! I have been eyeing up this website for a wee while now, but haven't been able to actually create an account, but now this is fixed I was able to make an order!

Website Practicality
I found BeautyBoxKorea quite easy to navigate, but for months I was not able to create an account with BBK because of a missing tab that would let you check if your username was available. However now that it is fixed, I found it easy to create an account, fill my cart and check out.

Store Review: Kirei Station

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with Kirei Station! I have wanted to shop with Kirei for some time now, but it's not the cheapest place to shop nor is it the most convenient so I have put it off for quite a while.

Website Practicality
I found this website pretty easy to navigate, though I find the black background to be a little heavy. It was easy to create an account, find items and check out. After checkout I did have some difficulty using my order section, it doesn't update with any shipping information, so if you're like me and your shipping info gets sent to the junk section of your inbox, you won't be able to find your tracking number on your order information. I also contacted Kirei to find out where the tracking details were, but they replied with the tracking website, not the actual tracking number (which went to junk, where I found the dispatch email anyway) which wasn't very helpful at all really.

Store Review: IBuyBeauti/IBBI

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with IBBI! I have shopped with IBuyBeauti before, but it has been quite a while so I thought it would be nice to shop with them again and see if anything has changed!

Website Practicality
I find IBBI very aesthetically pleasing, it's really easy to navigate and it has really easy to use filters to really specify what products you want to choose from. They have a great range of KBeauty brands too. I already had an account here so I didn't have to create another one, but it was still easy to add items to my account and check out. My only issue with this website is the scrolling, it seems to scroll in big chunks rather than a smooth continuous smooth which does make it a little frustrating to browse.

Store Review: Sasa

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with Sasa! I've shopped with Sasa before, but it was quite a long time ago (3 years ago!), so I thought it would be well worth refreshing to see if anything had changed.

Website Practicality
I find Sasa reasonably easy to browse, sometimes it is hard to find specific products as they won't pop up when searched, but the brand browse section is good. I already had an account here, but it was easy to log in, fill my cart and check out.

Store Review: Colorpop

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with Colorpop! I have never shopped with Colorpop before because the shipping is usually quite expensive, but currently they have free shipping over $50! I couldn't spend $50 there because everything is soo cheap, so I teamed up with my sister-in-law (good work brother) and we hauled together! ^ ^

Website Practicality
I found the website really easy to navigate and it's really aesthetically pleasing. It was easy to create an account, fill my cart and check out.

Store Review: Cosmic NZ

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with Cosmic NZ! Cosmic NZ is one of the only places I can purchase Lime Crime in New Zeleand that will ship quickly. I made my purchase during December, which is why I needed the quick shipping!

Website Practicality
I find Cosmic NZ to be easy to navigate, it was easy to create an account, fill my cart and check out.

Store Review: Sephora NZ

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with Sephora NZ. I have never shopped with Sephora before because they don't stock very much in the way of K-Beauty, and the prices for the K-Beauty they have is quite expensive. Recently the NZ store has been in the media due to many lost orders and almost non existent customer services, you can read about it here if you are not based in New Zealand. I placed my order shortly after Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

Website Practicality
I find the website easy to shop with, it's quite easy to navigate and is aesthetically pleasing. It was easy to set up an account, find my items, add them to my cart and check out.
