Today I'm going to be talking about the Pure Smile Snail Lip Treatment! This has become another of my Holy Grail lip products over the past two months because it's basically a sleeping pack for your lips!
"Pure Smile Snail Lip Treatment the power of Koreans skin care products at your fingertips.

Pure Smile is a great prestigious Korean skin care product approved in many countries. One of the five options will make you will ask yourself how you lived without them until today! A hydrating treatment that nourishes, protects and plump the lips. Can be used as base of lipstick.

Main ingredients:
Combined snail mucus filtered
Vitamin E
Hyaluronic acid
Grape seed
Shea butter
Macadamia seed oil"(1) 

This is such an interesting product, I bought it on the recommendation of some of the ladies at R/AsianBeauty and after the first night of useage I knew it was true love. If I haven't mentioned it enough already (like, seriously enough please) I am STILL taking Oral Acne Medication in the form of Orotane (otherwise known as Accutane or Roaccutane) which makes my lips ridiculously dry, meaning that I'm currently spending about a million dollars on lip balm.

I chose the Honey flavour, because I just thought that it couldn't go wrong in terms of taste. It doesn't taste like much, which makes it taste a little weird, it's really plain! It's super easy to use, you just squeeze out the treatment and apply it like your regular lip balm. The texture is very thick and sticky and gives the lips a very glossy look.

This Lip Treatment does contain Snail Secretion which is not nearly as scary as it sounds. This doesn't make the lip balm taste like snails, or feel slimy at all, you would never even know it was in it if it wasn't on the label!

This product works best as a night treatment, or sleeping lip mask. Because it is a thicker, tacky substance, I feel irritated by it during the day time because I rub my lips together a lot. I don't find that this rubs off on my pillow case during the night and I'm a stomach sleeper! When I wake up, I still have some treatment on my lips and this lasts until I've finished my breakfast and brushed my teeth, just in time for lipstick for the day. It leaves my lips feeling so nourished and plump, such a drastic change from my previous desert dry lips!

What I Love

- 5 different flavours

- Super inexpensive

- Works amazingly well 

What I Don't Love

- Odd, plain taste

Final Thoughts

This truly is one of my Holy Grail products, I haven't found a lip treatment that even comes close to how well it works and how inexpensive it is. It stays on throughout my nights sleep (even though I sleep face down), through my morning shower, breakfast and coffee and when it finally wears off it leaves my lips feeling so plump, moisturised and nourished that I can wear my mattest lipstick with no worries for at least four hours which is a major accomplishment for me! The only teeny downside is that it tastes so bland that it's odd, but since I'm sleeping while using this it's not particularly an issue for me.

I would recommend this Lip Treatment to any Princesses struggling with dry lips either during the winter or just at any time, it really is an amazing sleeping mask! 

Fail or Holy Grail Review: Su:m37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick

Today I'm going to be talking about the Su:m37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick! This cleansing stick has an avid cult following and it took me a little while to source, because it had been out of stock for so long! But I finally got my little grabby hands on it and have been loving it so much that I need to now purchase a new tube!
This cleanser is so loved by the majority of people because it is a low PH cleanser. I'm not quite sure if I'm the right person to explain the importance of a low PH cleanser, but here is my simplistic understanding. 

Your skin naturally has a PH of between 4.2 and 5.6 which is slightly acidic. Using a cleanser that is basic/alkaline is said to be quite cleansing since "the alkaline molecules bind to dirt and accumulated oils you want to wash off"(1) so you get that squeaky clean feeling. The trouble is when you get that squeaky clean feeling you may be stripping your skin of too many of it's natural oils and moisture, leading to a damaged moisture barrier. I'm sure that this is definitely a very personal preference, but I find a low PH cleaner fantastic for cleansing in the morning, but prefer a slightly higher PH cleanser in the evening.  Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick

It is a hypo-allergenic cleansing stick which contains fermented rose flower extracts, naturally derives skin care ingredients from the nature and enables you to massage on your skin softly.

The really good: The convenient twist-as-you-go tube packaging makes it easy to travel with the SU:M37 Cleansing Stick. The non-liquid formula means easy cleansing on the go, from air travel to the gym. 

Ingredients:
Glycerol, Water, Orange Peel Oil, Lime Peel Oil, Lemon Peel Oil, Green Tea Seed Oil, Coconut Oil, Basil Oil, Ylang Ylang Flower Oil, Majoram Oil, Fermented Damask Rose Extract, Apricot Seed Oil, Olive OIl, Sunflower Oil, Betaine, Stearic Acid, Lauric Acid, Camellia Oil, Tocopheral, Rose Flower Water, Potassium Hydroxide, Lauryl Betaine"(1)

This cleanser comes housed in an elegant tube with gold printing down the side and pretty engraving on the lid. It's plastic, so it's super portable and fantastic for travel!

The cleanser is a solid cream stick that winds up. The whole tube is filled with the cleanser so you don't have to worry about wasted space! The cleanser has little rose petals throughout which give a very very mild physical exfoliate.

I like to run the stick around my face and onto the bridge of my nose, then massage the cleanser on my face to create a little lather. I prefer to use this cleanser in the morning because it's so mild rather than at night when I need a more intense clean. I just don't feel like this cleanser cleans my skin thoroughly enough (even after double cleansing) after I've been wearing make up, which is totally ok!

What I Love

- Super gentle on the skin
- Quick and easy to use
- Beautiful packaging
- Great for travel since it's solid

What I Don't Love

- Not quite cleansing enough after make up

Final Thoughts

I really like this cleanser! It's super gentle on my skin, has beautiful packaging and is amazing for travel. I adore using this in the morning because it's mess and fuss free and leaves my skin feeling cleansed but not stripped, though I don't think it cleanses my skin thoroughly enough after I've been wearing make up. This is definitely one of my Holy Grail morning cleansers!

I would recommend this cleanser for any Princesses looking for a elegant, portable cream cleanser that has a suitable low PH level! ^.^

Fail or Holy Grail Review: Skinfood Peach Sake Silky Finish Powder

Today I'm going to be talking about my all time favourite setting powder, the Skinfood Peach Sake Silky Finish Powder! I've been using this powder for almost two years now, and I'm still on my first 15g jar even though I literally use it every time I wear make up!

"Skinfood Peach Sake Silky Finish Powder is a finish powder made with Sake and Peach Extracts. Helps to relieve skin troubles caused by excess sebum. The ultra-fine micro-silica powder keeps the skin fresh and soft as silk. Peach extracts naturally soften your skin while hydrating it at the same time. It is also known to soothe oily and troubled skin. Sake extract is effective at controlling sebum production and regenerating cells for clearer healthier skin.

Benefits:
    Oil Control
    Matte Finish
    Relieves troubled skin
    Softens
    Hydrates

How to Use:
Apply on the entire face using a puff or a powder brush."(1) 

One of the only things I don't love about this powder is the packaging. It's cute, but not functional. It's absolutely massive for starters because it's a 15g jar rather than a 5-10g jar, it also has a hole in the top of the lid. 

This lets air out when you put the lid on, but it also lets powder out if you tip if over which is awful for travel. It also just get messy when you just take the lid off which is just ridiculous. I put mine in an old MAC powder jar so that I can take it travelling.

This powder can leave a white cast if you over apply it, but it leaves me with a very smooth feeling on my skin with one thin layer. It helps to smooth out my pores a little and provide the tiniest bit of coverage for my flawed skin.

I have been using this powder for all of my foundation/BB Cream reviews almost since I started this blog. Obviously I review other powders, but this is my go-to because I know what results to usually expect from it! Final Thoughts

This is my absolute Holy Grail powder! It's cheap, last such a long time, has a pleasant smell of peaches and works really well for my skin. It helps my skin stay matte for as long as possible (not forever, it doesn't block my pores from producing oil at all) and makes my skin look and feel silky soft.

I absolutely adore this powder, and I would recommend this product for any Princesses looking for a good setting powder. ^.^
