Review: Stylenanda Love 3CE Baby Glow Cushion

Hello Princesses!
Today I'm going to be talking about the Stylenanda Love 3CE Baby Glow Cushion! I bought this cushion because I just thought it was literally too cute, very much like the Love 3CE Cheek Makers! This is the first time that I've tried a Stylenanda base product before, so I was quite curious to see the quality!

BB Cream Swatches

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my collection of BB and CC Creams! I didn't include my foundations in this comparison because I don't actually have any new foundations, but I can always re photograph and swatch them if you Princesses would like! Each photo set is set up the same way, the first two photos are the freshly applied and the shades are numbered, and the bottom two photos are what they look like after being blended into the skin and oxidised. This is going to be super long, I suggest CTR+F and searching for the brand name to find specific swatches. Enjoy! ^ ^

3: Missha Signature Complete BB Cream in No.21
8: Etude House Dear Girls Be Clear BB Cream
These BB Creams don't oxidise that bad, though #8 Etude House Dear Girls Be Clear BB Cream does get a couple of shades darker.

First Impression: Skinfood Good Afternoon Honey Black Tea BB Cream in 1: Light Beige

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about the Skinfood Good Afternoon Honey Black Tea BB Cream! This horrendously long name means that this BB Cream is part of the Skinfood Good Afternoon BB Cream series. I've previously tried the Peach Green Tea BB Cream, and I'll compare the two at the end of this post!

Review: Skinfood Peach Sake Pore BB Cream; 01 Light Beige

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be reviewing the Skinfood Peach Sake Pore BB Cream in the shade 01 Light Beige! I've had this BB Cream for quite a while and never used it too much for two reasons, in Winter it's not a great colour for me, but in Summer it's not a great formula for me. What? Find out what I mean below!
"Peach Sake Pore BB cream is a pore-refining cream that regulates sebum secretion while creating a flawless and matte complexion minus the greasy feeling. Add to that a 20 SPF sun protection factor, and you have one of Skin Food's most popular products on the market. The peach sake pore BB cream #1 is light beige in colour. while the #2 is more of a natural beige."(1)

The packaging comes with a pump as well as cover cap, which is fantastic for travel and hygiene! The BB Cream is quite thick and creamy which makes it feel really lovely on my dry Winter skin, but not so great only oily Summer skin.
This BB Cream comes in a massive 8 shades and I'm reviewing the lightest. From what I gather by reading reviews of the other colours, they are almost all very yellow toned. This colour is almost perfect for my Summer skin, but about one shade too dark for my Winter skin. There are ways to make this colour work for me in Winter, such as adding a white liquid mixer (thins out the coverage ugh) or a white powder (makes my face look too dry ugh) but it's not as good as using just the BB Cream by itself, because the formula is lovely, smooth and hydrating without being greasy.
I quite like the medium coverage this BB Cream provides, it doesn't cover all of my scarring but it does a really decent job! Because my skin doesn't product any oil at the moment (due to acne medication) this BB Cream stays looking exactly the same throughout the day. When I'm not on medication, during Winter it stays well, though my T-Zone will product a little oil, but during Summer my skin produces much more oil and my T-Zone is actually floating in oil which is gross!

What I Love
- Hydrating without feeling greasy
- Good oil control for semi-oily skin
- Really decent scar and pore coverage
- Easy to apply with fingers, sponge or brushes

What I Don't Love
- Too dark for my Winter skin
- Melts off my face in Summer
- Darker 6 shades are hard to find (discontinued)
Final Thoughts
This BB Cream just reminds me of all of my first world problems. It has the perfect formula for my dry winter skin (hydrating without being greasy, smooth coverage) but it's too dark. The colour is good for my darker summer skin, but it slides around my face too much due to the excess  oil. It is quite a bit of work to make this BB Cream look good on my skin which isn't ideal, but it has a really lovely formula, so if it's the right colour for your skin and you don't have super duper oily skin, I would definitely recommend it! ^.^

First Impression: MAC Studio Waterweight Foundation

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about the MAC Studio Waterweight Foundations! I decided to do two First Impressions this week so I could fit this in because it's a new product, and really really interesting!
What Does It Do?
"Introducing an innovative foundation that delivers colour in an ultra-fluid, elastic gel- serum formula. With a virtually weightless feel, this formula is extraordinarily comfortable, lasting for hours. With stay-true colour and sheer medium buildable coverage, it softly blurs imperfections such as pores and fine lines, while also controlling oil. The addition of Moisture-Fusion Complex provides immediate and all-day hydration, leaving skin feeling quenched and silky to the touch. The unique dropper provides you with a drop of perfection.

    Provides comfortable, all-day wear
    Provides instant and all-day hydration
    Controls oil
Offers broad spectrum UVA/UVB SPF 30
    Provides stay-true colour
    Non-caking and streak-resistant
    For all skin types
    Non-acnegenic
    Dermatologist tested
    Oil-free" (1)
The sample packaging is so ridiculously cute, it's minuscule, full to the brim of foundation and smaller than my index finger.
The lightest warm toned/yellow toned/NC shade is NC15, which is not really that light. It's not quite the right shade for my skin, it's a little too dark and quite beige as opposed to yellow.
The formula of this foundation is amazing, it's so lightweight, easy to blend and really looks like skin rather than a mask. It provides light to medium coverage, enough to cover lighter scars, but not enough to cover the more significant scarring. It doesn't make my pores or fine lines look smaller, but in combination with a powder my skin looks amazing.
Since I didn't like the way the NC15 looked on my skin, I was rematched to NW13. I have the Studio Fix Fluid Foundation in NW10 and it can pass as an OK match.
NW13 looks strangely orange! It doesn't look awful on my skin, but it's not the right colour either which is unfortunate.
I decided to do a shade comparison including my sisters sample shade (NC20) and my NW10 Studio Fix Fluid. There is a massive difference between the NW10 and NW13 shade, so if you love your Studio Fix in NW10 you probably won't like the Waterweight in NW13. You can also see the texture difference between the matte full coverage of the Studio Fix Fluid and the thin lightweight Waterweight Foundation.

Would I Purchase This Product?
No, but only because the shades don't match! I could lighten the NC15 shade with a white mixer, but it's quite beige and I need a very yellow toned foundation. It has an absolutely gorgeous formulation and I think it would look lovely on most skin types, it made my skin look like my skin but way better, and it lasted all day without fading or breaking up. I really wish the made the NW10 shade or even better, NC10!

Review: Revlon Colorstay Foundation - Buff

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about Revlon's Colorstay Foundation in the shade 150 Buff! This is the old formula, and since I purchased this they have reformulated and incorporated different formula's for Oily or Dry skin! I believe this formula best represents the new formula for Oily skin so I'm going to review it anyway! ^.^
"Longwearing coverage with Time Release Technology and a lightweight formula that won’t cake, fade, or rub off. Specifically made for combination or oily skin to control oil absorption and shine. Your look stays flawless throughout the day.

• Comfortable, shine-free finish for up to 24 hours
• 20 beautiful, longwearing shades
• Buildable to full coverage" (1)

First Impression: Oasis Beauty BB Cream - The Bardot

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about the Oasis Beauty BB Cream in the shade The Bardot! I received this tester in a goodie bag from a makeup meetup, and was immediately intrigued since I've tried Oasis Beauty's BB Cream's in the old formula back in 2013 when I enjoyed the square brow look.

What Does It Do?
"Imagine a product that instantly covers your imperfections and gives you a flawless complexion, but also works over time to visibly improve the look and feel of your skin

Don't imagine...that's what a BB cream does!

The Bardot BB Cream is best suited to lighter skin tones and offers a mid coverage unlike The Monroe and The Hepburn, which offer a more full coverage

Here is what The Bardot natural BB cream offers you:

- Natural mid coverage mineral foundation with a dewy fresh finish
- Protect your skin with broad spectrum SPF coverage, which we all know is the number one step in anti-ageing
- Help to correct skin imperfections over time with Vitamins B5, C and E, pomegranate, red grape skin extract, hyaluronic acid, jojoba, rosehip, calendula, shea butter, sweet almond and apricot kernal
- Good for all skin types, Bardot is especially suited for dry to normal skin types
- Recommended for sensitive skin, but that doesn't mean everyone else can't use it
- Love Bardot, but want the matte finish? Just pop a bit of powder over top

Oasis natural BB creams contain no silicone, fragrance or talc.  They are paraben free and, most importantly, cruelty free."(1)
The colour is obviously a little dark for me, and somehow looks a little a little pink on my face in comparison to my neck. I think this is mostly because my face does have some redness (and red scars) and this BB Cream has quite a sheer finish, so it doesn't cover too much of my redness.
I was really pleasantly surprised by the lovely finish of this BB Cream! Even though it's quite sheer and ends up being the wrong colour, it has such a smooth finish on the skin which is really flattering for pores, uneven skin texture and fine lines! The best surprise for me was this BB Cream didn't get stuck in the wrinkles under my eyelids or on top of my lids!
I found that this BB Cream lasted quite well, only looking a little shiny throughout the T-Zone after 6 hours. It didn't wear off throughout the day or fade in any places!

Would I Purchase This Product?
No, because it's not the right colour for me (there are only three shades), but I actually really like it as a product! It's super easy to apply using fingers, sponge or brushes, gives and absolutely gorgeous soft satiny finish that's really flattering for uneven skin, pores and fine lines, and it also lasts quite well throughout the day!

I would definitely recommend this BB Cream for any Princesses who fit within the three shades because the formula is absolutely lovely! The two darker shades have fuller coverage (not sure why) but if you try the shade The Bardot, just make sure you're ok with very light coverage! ^.^
