Today I'm going to be talking about the It’s Skin Prestige Crème Ginseng D’Escargot! I chose to use this sample because my skin is quite dehydrated after having minor surgery, and it needs a bit of love!

Today I'm going to be talking about the It's Skin Prestige Crème D’Escargot! I got one teeny sample sachet of this product, but the description seemed interesting so I decided to give it a go!

What Does It Do?

"Firstclass luxurious cream contains mucin (snail mucus), the ingredient with superior cell restoration, moisturization, and skin trouble relieving effects, and EGF (epidermal growth factor), through the combination of which creates a synergy effect to regenerate damaged cells, the fundamental cause for skin aging

#How to Use

BB Cream Swatches

Today I'm going to be talking about my collection of BB and CC Creams! I didn't include my foundations in this comparison because I don't actually have any new foundations, but I can always re photograph and swatch them if you Princesses would like! Each photo set is set up the same way, the first two photos are the freshly applied and the shades are numbered, and the bottom two photos are what they look like after being blended into the skin and oxidised. I'm quite sad because I can't find that much information online about these two BB Creams and why they should be different in formula since the packaging doesn't actually say anything. But they definitely are different, so let's have a look!

First Impression: It's Skin Power 10 Formula YE Effector

Today I'm going to be talking about the It's Skin Power 10 Formula YE Effector! I've previously tried the SYN-AKE, Propolis and VC Formula with various results, so of course I was interested to try another one of the formulas!

What Does It Do?

"It's Skin Power 10 Formula YE Effector is a highly concentrated essence containing fermented yeast extract, known to delay aging & give skin a youthful glow. Instantly boosts skin's hydration levels & enhances skin cell regeneration with continued use.

It's Skin Power 10 collection of serums is designed to tackle every skincare problem with a blend of highly effective, nourishing ingredients. All dermatologically tested and suitable for sensitive skin. Free from colorants and alcohols.

How to Use: After washing the face, place few drops onto palm and gently pat it into skin until fully absorbed. Follow with your favorite emulsion or moisturiser."(1)

I'm not sure how this product is going to make my skin recover it's rhythm, but it's certainly an interesting product! It has a thin gel texture and is easily spread out across the skin. It has a really odd medical scent, it reminds me strongly of the dentist (which does not conjure up happy memories for me!) but it doesn't smell like yeast.

I used two small sachets of this product which lasted me four days. This essence did make my skin feel lightly hydrated, but I didn't see any amazing results. They are relatively inexpensive, but I definitely felt like the Propolis formula was better for my skin.

Would I Purchase This Product?

No, I didn't feel like it added anything to my current routine since my products already focus on hydrating, it's quite an unnecessary step for me personally. It's supposed to give your skin more energy and help it recover it it's rhythm, but I didn't see any results like that, just a nice light hydration.

I would recommend this Essence to any Princesses looking for light hydration, but in all honesty I would recommend the Propolis formula over the YE Effector.

Today I'm going to be talking about the It's Skin Red Ginseng & 10 Formula Toner, Emulsion and Silk Cream! I'm not sure what inspired me to purchase the gift set of these products, but someone decided to give me the Silk Cream and I decided now would be a good time to try these!

What Does It Do?

"Red Ginseng and 10 Formula is the special traditional treatment containing Korean Heaven Grade Ginseng and a highly concentrated ten kinds of herbal in nutrition and moisture for skin vitality and elastic. It helps boost turnover to restore smoothness, radiance, and clarity, along with helping to rebuild natural collagen and elastin fibers to make skin stonger and more resilient." (1)

It's Skin Red Ginseng & 10 Formula Toner

This toner is really quite lovely! I don't know too much about it or it's PH level, but it feels really moisturising for my skin. It does have quite a strong floral scent which I quite like, but this may be off-putting for a lot of Princesses. I liked using this toner because it didn't dry my skin out at all and I feel like it contributed to the extra moisture while using this set, but I did run out of this quicker than the other products and didn't miss it that much.

It's Skin Red Ginseng & 10 Formula Emulsion

I cannot how express how much I dislike this little tester bottle. The Emulsion is moderately thick, you I have to try and shake it out (and then it ends up on the walls), but I absolutely love it! It gives me lovely light hydration and absorbs quickly. I use this after the toner, but before my Facial Oil, Sunscreen and Cream.

It's Skin Red Ginseng & 10 Formula Silk Cream

This Silk Cream certainly feels silky on the skin! It's not so rich that it makes my skin feel like it's drowning, but it also provides a really good boost of hydration. I didn't use this Cream long enough to see any solid results, though I did enjoy using it!

Would I Purchase These Products?

Perhaps the Emulsion! I really enjoyed using this product in particular because it's not really a type of skincare I use on a regular basis. I found that it helped my skin stay hydrated during my use of Oratane, and I found the additional step didn't add too much time to my already lengthy skincare routine because it absorbs so quickly! I wasn't incredibly fussed with the Toner or the Cream, they are nice, but they aren't better than the products I already own.

I would recommend grabbing the tester samples of these products to any Princesses with drier skin, because they are absolutely gorgeous ^.^

Review: Beauteque Head to Toe Fun in the Sun Bag

Today I'm going to be talking about the Beauteque Head to Toe Fun in the Sun bag! I previously reviewed the Beauteque Head to Toe Skinfood bag which I absolutely adored so I was super excited to receive this bag for review too! 

Unfortunately customs seized my package and demanded to know what was inside before they would send it on, which is why I don't have any pictures of the postage, but this time my bag came contained in a bubble wrapped bag, and the cucumber gel was fully bubble wrapped which I was super glad to see!

As usual, this bag came with the little card detailing the prices and descriptions of everything that is in the bag. This bag costs $28USD plus $10.95 shipping.

Ostia Cucumber Soothing Gel - $15.50

Soothe skin with this rich cucumber gel. It will offer a cooling and soothing relief.

To Use: Apply all over skin, especially in sunburned areas.

The phallic packaging of this product is guaranteed to cause giggles to any adults in the room, as is the bumpy texture of the plastic! I'm super interested to use this product, but I haven't been sunburnt in about 7 years (I may be a vampire) and I don't feel too hot usually, so I don't know how helpful this will be for me personally!

Cellabon Naturatox UV Essence - $35.00

This 3-in-1 miracle product offers protection from UV rays, moisturising properties, and acts as a base to set your makeup all day. Willow Bark extract and Papaya Fruit extract increases cell turnover to help effectively detoxify the pores, and improve skin texture as it gently sweeps away dead skin cells and impurities that can dull the complexion.

To Use: Apply to face and body before going outdoors.

The packaging for this sunscreen is super luxurious, it even comes with it's own little stand! One of the only things I dislike more than unnecessary abbreviations is metallic packaging. Pretty - yes, but photogenic - no. I love that this has a little "on-off" switch so the pump doesn't accidentally depress during travel. I'm not sure how this will work as an essence, but it's really lightweight and leaves a moisturised finish. I don't love it on it's own because it makes my face feel a little greasy, but it works wonderfully under make up!

Tony Moly Mini Berry Lip Balm - $10.00

Flavoured lip balm protects lips with SPF15. Offers a pleasant flavour as well.

To Use: Apply throughout the day.

This cherry shaped and scented lip balm is ridiculously cute! It has a glossy peach coloured tint that looks super natural on the lips and doesn't taste too much like plastic. It's lightly hydrating and contains SPF15, I would definitely recommend this to Princesses that don't have super duper dry lips!

 Nature Republice Real Nature Mask in Cucumber - $3.89

The cucumber mask hydrates and provides skin with nutrients. It also increases skin absorption potential.

To Use: Apply 10-20 minutes to clean skin them remove. Massage remaining essence into skin.

This is a great choice of mask for summer because cucumber is always so cooling and refreshing!

 My Beauty Diary Hyaluronic Acid Mask- $3.89

The hyaluronic acid mask deeply moisturises. This mask infuses the skin to improve elasticity and firmness, and instantly enhances softness in the skin.
To Use: Apply 20-30 minutes to clean skin, then remove. Massage remaining essence into skin.

I'm not sure about using an intensely moisturising mask during hot weather, but I guess when you have dry skin it's usually dry! I'll be aiming to use this during Spring when my skin isn't too oily!

It's Skin Babyface Waterproof Eyeliner - $11.00

Define eyes and defy sweat and water with this waterproof liner. Product will last throughout the day.

To Use: Apply to top and/or bottom lash line by lining from inner corner outwards.

The packaging of this pencil liner is absolutely adorable! It is actually quite smudge proof and waterproof, but I wonder how it will hold up against my oily eyelids! This is a great liner for summer if you want your eye liner to stay on while swimming, just try not to rub your eyes!

Blotting Paper - $5.00

Soak up oil from skin without disturbing makeup or sunblock. Reduce shine and feel refreshed.

To Use: Dab face with one sheet as necessary throughout the day or evening.

Blotting papers are another great choice for a summer bag, they are definitely a necessity for my oily summer skin! The little Eiffel Tower charm is removable too, how cute!

Final Thoughts

I really like this Head to Toe Fun in the Sun bag! I think that it has a great range of sun care items, including a full size sunscreen, and that it also had some fun, cutely packaged items - who can resist a little cherry shaped lip tint! I really like that this time the delicate items came bubble wrapped for safety, it makes me feel so much safer when I see items being bubble wrapped.
