Review: Skinfood Black Sugar Perfect Cleansing Oil

Hello Princesses!
Today I'm going to be talking about the Skinfood Black Sugar Perfect Cleansing Oil! I picked this cleansing oil up because I used to really like the scent of the Black Sugar Perfect First Serum before they changed the formula and thought this might make a nice addition to my current skincare routine!

Review: Skinfood Rice Mask Wash Off

Hello Princesses!
Today I'm going to be talking about the Skinfood Rice Mask Wash Off! I bought this mask because I heard that it was a lot more gentle than the Black Sugar Wash Off mask that I had previously that was just way too harsh for my skin!

Review: Skinfood Tomato Jelly Tint Lip

Hello Princesses!
Today I'm going to be talking about the Skinfood Tomato Jelly Tint Lips! Surely this should be named Tomato Jelly Lip Tints, but that's not whats printed on the actual packaging. I've wanted to try these little tinted balms for quite some time now, I do love tinted lip balms but I am quite picky with the texture, colour and taste. These products are not new, but since they have been around for quite a while now I would consider them to be more of a KBeauty classic.

Fail or Holy Grail Review: Skinfood Peach Cotton Multi Finish Powder

Hello Princesses!
Today I'm going to be talking about the Skinfood Peach Cotton Multi Finish Powder! I used to have the Skinfood Peach Silky Pore Powder which looks like it has been discontinued, but since the silky pore powder was a Holy Grail for me, I was super curious to see if the new Peach Cotton Powder was too!

Review: Skinfood Sugar Mix Highlighting and Shading

Hello Princesses!
Today I'm going to be talking about the Skinfood Sugar Mix Highlighting and Shading Kits! Highlighting and Bronzing or Contouring are not part of my normal routine, but I have been getting more into it for my normal day to day make up just to give my face a little more shape. I decided to try these because because the bronzer is called Diet Cookies which I thought was a really cute name!

Fail or Holy Grail Review: Skinfood Sugar Cookie Blush

Hello Princesses!
Today I'm going to be talking about the Skinfood Sugar Cookie Blush! I picked up 5 out of the 6 shades recently, and it seems that the 5th shade which is Bebe Pale Pink is discontinued. As soon as I swatched these blushes I knew that they were a complete fail for me, they are as hard as rocks and there is absolutely now powder when you try to use them which means no colour.

Review: Skinfood Black Sugar Perfect First Serum 2x Essential VS 2x Light

Hello Princesses!
Today I'm going to be talking about the Skinfood Black Sugar Perfect First Serum 2x Essential VS 2x Light! The original formula is an old Holy Grail for me, but since they don't seem to make that anymore, I had to see what the difference between the 2x Essential and 2x Light!

Fail or Holy Grail Review: Below Average Products

Hello Princesses!
Today I'm going to be talking about some below average products! I didn't have any outstanding Fail or Holy Grail products to talk about this month, so instead of talking about a Fail product, I thought I would instead talk about some products that were below average, but didn't warrant a fail review. I'm doing the same for the Holy Grail post in two weeks, but I have a lot more Above Average products to talk about since if it's below average I usually end up not reviewing them and either selling them or giving them away.

Fail or Holy Grail Review: Skinfood Grape Seed Oil Wrinkle Neck Cream

Hello Princesses!
Today I'm going to be talking about the Skinfood Grape Seed Oil Wrinkle Neck Cream! This looks like such a fun looking skincare item, but in reality it's not a very effective one.

Fail or Holy Grail Review: Skinfood Avocado Leave In Fluid

Hello Princesses!

Fail or Holy Grail Review: Skinfood Black Sugar Perfect First Serum

Hello Princesses!
Today I'm going to be talking about the Skinfood Black Sugar Perfect First Serum in the Original formula! I first tried this back in November and wrote a First Impression review on it at that point in time. I really liked the way it worked with my skin so I purchased the full size, and now that I'm almost out of the full size, I'm here to talk about my Holy Grail product!

First Impression: Skinfood Good Afternoon Honey Black Tea BB Cream in 1: Light Beige

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about the Skinfood Good Afternoon Honey Black Tea BB Cream! This horrendously long name means that this BB Cream is part of the Skinfood Good Afternoon BB Cream series. I've previously tried the Peach Green Tea BB Cream, and I'll compare the two at the end of this post!

Review: Skinfood Rose Cheek Chalk Blush

Hello Princesses!
Today I'm going to be talking about the Skinfood Rose Cheek Chalk Blushers! I swatched these while I was in Taipei in February, and was so intrigued by the texture and vibrant pay-off that I grabbed one then and there, and have collected the other shades over the past year.
"Containing moist, soft rosehip oil, this cream-type pearl blusher provides a sheer, gorgeous makeup finish. Its creamy texture allows for easy application, so it can be applied well over powder. A variety of contained pearls reflect light in different directions, creating the appearance of depth and radiance.

*To Use:
For a natural, vibrant look, pat gently onto cheek using fingers or contained puff, then finish with powder.
For a cute look, after applying powder, pat gently onto center of cheeks using fingers or puff." (1)

The packaging of these blushes is super cute, it's very compact and there isn't any excess packaging (meaning that it's pretty full of product) and comes with the cutest, itty bitty puff you've ever seen! This is not a fluffy puff, but more of a rubbery puff. It works well to apply blush, but it does apply it a little heavily.
These blushes come in three different shades and are all shimmery. They are cream blushes and have a really interesting texture since they are chalk blushes!
Rose Pink
Rose Pink is a gorgeous pink with silver shimmer. When blended out, it gives my skin a really lovely rosy flush.
This is a really subtle colour on my cheeks and I think it's a colour that really suits my skintone! These blushes are so easy to blend out on the skin and they are quite flattering for Princesses with larger pores. I really love that these are so easy to blend, I don't end up rubbing off half of my foundation trying to blend the blush out nicely!
Rose Peach
Rose Peach is a beautiful Peach shade with gold shimmer. This is the shade that I picked up in Taipei because I just thought it was so beautiful when I swatched it and I had to have it!
This is an absolutely gorgeous shade on my skin, it's peachy enough to suit my warm toned skin but pinky enough to give me a warm flush. This is one of my go-to blushes, it never looks bad!
Rose Orange
Rose Orange is a vibrant orange with gold shimmer. This is quite an orange shade, it almost reminds me of a pumpkin colour!
Orange is not my favourite colour on my skin, but this is still a lovely shade! Like the previous shades, this is super easy to apply and doesn't make my pores look like the craters of the moon - lovely.
What I Love
- Great shade range
- Vibrant colour payoff
- Not ridiculously shimmery
- Flattering on larger pores
Easy to apply

What I Don't Love
- Nothing really!

Final Thoughts
I absolutely adore these blushes, the Rose Peach shade is one of my favourites (and I dare say it's a Holy Grail shade!). They make my skin look lovely, the colours are really nice, they have a very vibrant colour payoff and they're super easy to apply, there really is nothing that I don't like about these blushes!

I would definitely recommend these blushes to any Princesses who are looking for a soft cream blush that contains shimmer (but not ridiculous amounts of shimmer) ^.^

Fail or Holy Grail Review: Holika Holika Magic Pole Mascara, Skinfood My Short Cake Setting Mascara, The Body Shop Skinny Thin Felt Tip Eyeliner

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about three fail eye products that I found at the same time! I decided to pop these into one post as they aren't really long enough or interesting enough to warrant their own Fail or Holy Grail post!

Holika Holika Magic Pole Mascara: Long and Curl

"Waterproof Mascara with magical power. A specially designed Memory Curl Polymer makes curling eyelashes all day long. Mild Mascara for Anyone with sensitive eyes or with concerns painful eyes. A non-smudge, just gentle cleansing also involving exfoliation. Use warm water only.Contents
Magical Volume Powder :
It can help extreme voluming abundant to the roots of the eyelashes from outside to inside.

Options
#03 Volume & Curl (Waterproof), #04 Long & Curl (Waterproof)

How to use
Lift eyelashed up with Magic stick the eyelashes individual.
Spread eyelashes with magic ball."(1)
I adore the packaging of this mascara, it's sturdy, cute and I just love the little dome on the top!
However, I do not adore the mascara wand. It's almost bald, only having three stripes of spikes running down the entire wand with a ball tip that has no spikes on the tip. I find it really difficult to use, and poked myself in the eyeball all three times that I used it. Getting waterproof mascara off your contacts isn't a walk in the park!
I find that it makes my lashes look long, but quite spidery. The fail part of this
mascara is absolutely the wand, I just can't stand it at all!

Skinfood My Short Cake Setting Mascara
"It coats every inch of eyelashes without smudging to provide amazing curls and rich eyelashes at the same time. *How to Use- Use the Eyelash Up Gold (eyelash curler) to curl your eyelashes, and use the product for more dramatic eyelash makeup. -Gently lift your eyelids with your fingers and intensively apply on the roots. Lightly shake the brush upwards to brush your eyelashes." (2)
This mascara makes my eyelashes look gorgeous! They're nicely separated and voluminous.
BUT, it's sticky. If I sneeze or just blink forcefully, my lashes stick together in the grossest way. You can see in the above photo that it looks like it hasn't dried properly, which I think it accurate. No matter how long I leave the mascara on my eye, or how long I leave the wand out of the bottle, this mascara will not dry down. I don't understand why it won't, but it smudges and sticks and I hate it.

The Body Shop Skinny Thin Felt Eyeliner
"With a fine felt tip to leave you primed for precision. The thinner the line the more natural the look, but this multitalented master can be built up to achieve anything from a bold statement, to intricate artwork.
• Easy to apply and get in close to the lash line

• Fast drying

• Smudge proof

• Suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers"(3)
This liner has a thin felt tip, but it's quite a dry felt tip. By that I mean that just using the thin tip will not give you enough ink to create a thin line. You can apply a bit of pressure to the tip to push the ink out, but this gives a wider line. It doesn't create thin lines after the first five times that I used it, I store it tip down and I've never had a liner go so dry so quickly!
I definitely regret purchasing this liner, it just doesn't work for thin lines, how dry does that wing look!?

I hope you enjoyed this Fail Eye Products Post, did you try any of these products too?
