How To: Create Your Own Beginner Skincare Routine

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about how you can create your own beginner skincare routine! My skincare routine uses mostly Korean skincare products because I find that they work best for my skin, but there are no rules as to what brands you have to use. If you prefer Western products, then use western products, if you want to mix western and Korean products, then do that! It's all about creating a routine that works for you, and since everybody's skin is so different it's literally impossible for me to tell you what exact products are going to work!

Provided for Review: Banish Skincare

Hello Princesses!
Today I'm going to be talking about some skincare provided for review by Banish! The team from Banish contacted me about trying out some of their skincare, and although I couldn't try out their banisher which is a micro-needler (you cannot use these while taking Isotretinoin) I was able to try out some of their other products.

Fail or Holy Grail Review: Mamonde Age Control Camellia Oil

Hello Princesses!
Today I'm going to be talking about the Mamonde Age Control Camellia Oil! I'm always on the hunt for good eye cream, and this has turned into a Holy Grail product for me, even though it's technically not an eye cream! I actually read a review on this cream by Fifty Shades of Snail who mentioned that she liked using this oil as an under eye cream, and since it's pretty inexpensive, I though why not give it a go!

Store Review: Holy Snails

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with Holy Snails!
I've wanted to try out Chel's goodies for so long, but  just never had the right timing in terms of actually having enough money to shop there and space in my routine for the products! I was mostly prompted to make a purchase since Holy Snails was offering free shipping, but I was actually an hour late to get the free shipping (the paiiiiin) but made my purchase anyway.

FYI, these links contain a referral from me for 10% off! I don't get paid for these referrals, but I do earn points to spend at Holy Snails - full disclosure!

Website Practicality
I find Holy Snails to be really aesthetically pleasing and also very functional. You can scroll down the home page to see all of the products offered, but you can also shop by product type or ingredient type which is so cool! I found it easy to create an account, fill my bag and check out.

Fail or Holy Grail Review: Tony Moly Super Peeling Liquid Shiny Foot and Holika Holika Baby Silky Foot Sheet Mask

Hello Princesses!
Today I'm going to be talking about the Tony Moly Super Peeling Liquid Shiny Foot and the Holika Holika Baby Silky Foot Sheet Mask! I thought I would throw in the Holika Holika Foot Mask with this since it's not that interesting of a review on it's own! Since I am on a very low dosage of Isotretinoin (otherwise knows as Accutane, Roaccutane, or Orotane) I did have to talk to my dermatologist before using this peel to make sure it was suitable for my skin. While you're taking a higher dosage of Isotretinoin it is wise to avoid chemical peels because your skin is so much more fragile than usual, but since I am on such a low dose I was cleared to use this peel.
Let me also point out the obvious ick factor. I'm talking about foot peeling in this blog post. All of the photos are going to be of my feet. If you don't like feet, please don't read this post because it might make you feel sick and that is not my aim.

Review: Innisfree Ampoule Intense Cushion

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about the Innisfree Ampoule Intense Cushion in the shade 13! I purchased a refill of this cushion (because the combo of cushion and cushion case was out of stock) and because I was curious as to how the shade 13 would do with my skin tone since I so loved the shade 11 in the Long Wear formula!

Store Review: Hikoco

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with Hikoco! This is a New Zealand based KBeauty store that offers free shipping on purchases over $50. Sounds interesting to me!

Website Practicality
Hikoco is a very practical website, but it's also quite pretty too! I don't love the top tabs, but they are still functional and easy to use. I found it easy to create a log in, fill my cart and check out. Hikoco offers payment via Paypal which is my preference. The only thing I disliked about this store is that they offered a $5 off coupon for my first purchase immediately after I made my first purchase. How cruel!
