Review: Creer Beaute; La Rose De Versailles Mascara and Eyeliner Set

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about Creer Beautes ANTOINETTE Liquid Eyeliner + Mascara Set! I picked this duo up from Sasa for $20.40(USD). My initial first impressions of these products was less than satisfactory, but after a couple of uses I'm somewhat more impressed by some aspects of these products!
The Mascara and Liquid Liner have very regular applicators, the Mascara has a thick fluffy brush that's not too oversized, and the Liquid Liner tip is very sharp to help create fine lines.

The mascara is very easy to apply, and makes my lashes feel long and voluminous without feeling clumpy. However, it makes my feel really sticky! I feel my eyelashes sticking together when I blink, and if I have to clean up underneath my eye, the lashes stick to each other which is super irritating.
The Liquid Liner is pretty standard, it creates very thin to thick lines, but I do find that the initial line bleeds slightly due to the thin consistency of the product. It's still a very pigmented product, and easy to use despite the initial bleeding.
I find it very easy to line my eyes with the liquid liner. I only line the inner and outer thirds of my eyes because it flatters my eye shape the most.
The mascara lasts well (aside from the discomfort of sticky lashes) and doesn't smudge under my eyes, which most mascaras do. The eyeliner doesn't last as well, and tends to smudge off when my skin gets a little oily, which I obviously don't love.
 What I Love
- Mascara doesn't smudge
- Liner is pigmented
- Liner makes smooth thin lines
- Elegant packaging
- Well priced

What I Don't Love
- Mascara is extremely sticky
- Liner smudges on oily lids
Final Thoughts
I'm feeling pretty "meh" for both of these products to be honest. Even though the liner is quite average, but I will still be using it all up because it's not terrible, and I literally go through a liner a month and I don't want to waste it! The mascara would've been so lovely if it wasn't so sticky, if anyone has any tips on fixing or using "sticky" mascaras, please let me know! I can't really re-sell the mascara (it's difficult to sanatise, and sharing eye germs is gross) so I would love to get my monies worth of the mascara! ^. ~

Manicure Monday: Dressed Up Nudes

Hello Princesses!

Today I have another super cute manicure to show you - my Dressed Up Nudes manicure for the PANZ Challange!
To create my manicure, I started with a nude base colour which is OPI's Samoan Sand. I added some white lace water decals on my middle and ring finger, and a simple black rhinestone on my index and pinkie finger from Born Pretty Store. There are so many ways to dress up a nude polish, so check out all of the amazing entries at the PANZ blog to find some inspiration!

What's your favorite way to dress up your nude polish? Leave me a link so I can check out your favorite nude manicures!

First Impression: Estēe Lauder Double Wear Light; 0.5

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about Estēe Lauder's Doublewear Light in 0.5! I was so excited to hear that the Double Wear Light comes in shades below 1 (unlike the regular Double Wear) so I was incredibly excited to take home a little trial pot to see if it would be light enough for my pale yellow skin! :3

What Does It Do?
"Double Wear Light,Stay-in-Place Makeup SPF 10

BENEFITS

15-hour wear. Controls oil.

Sheer to Medium; SPF 10.

Long-wear makeup is now lightweight makeup. Goes on sheer, resists smudging, leaves skin free to breathe all day. Looks fresh, natural. RRP $80." (1)
I was given the shade 0.5 to try out, which is a very light warm toned colour. I trialled this foundation with a couple of different primers with varied results, but here is what the foundation looks like without a primer base.
Without a primer the foundation clings to any dry or flaky patches (especially my chin!) but it looks fine on the rest of my skin. It covers my large pores and conceals my imperfections really well without making me look too "fake" looking.

Using a primer makes this foundation look a lot smoother if you have dry skin or any imperfections like me. Pretty much every primer I used with this foundation worked well, but my favorite was MAC's Strobe Liquid!

This foundation is quite pale, warm toned, and easy to apply with fingers, brushes or sponges! It dries fairly quick, so you need to work in small sections to avoid making the foundation look cakey. It has a soft matte finish, so you don't have to use a finishing powder! This foundation lasts for a long time on my skin without fading or getting too shiny. ^.^
Would I Purchase This Product?
I absolutely love this product and am planning on purchasing it as soon as I can afford it! Colour wise, it's almost perfect. It could do with a little lightening, but it's got a lovely warm tone so it's quite passable for everyday wear for me. I really love the formula, it gives me medium coverage and a soft matte finish that makes it a perfect fancy face product for occasions when I want to look like a more flawless me!

Review: TonyMoly Luminous Aura CC Cream

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about the TonyMoly CC Cream in Live Aura and Pure Aura! I purchased 10 sample packets of each CC Cream to try before buying full size, because it's quite difficult to judge the colour of a CC Cream since they  are supposed to adjust to your skin!

The TonyMoly CC Cream comes in three different types, Luminous Live Aura, Luminous Pure Aura and Luminous Bright Aura (which is apparently quite glittery). The Luminous Live Aura is a pink liquid and the Luminous Pure Aura is a white liquid. I've done a CC Cream Swatches comparison post on my pale skin and my sisters tanned skin, but here are the direct colour comparisons for the Live and Pure Aura CC Cream!
The Live Aura seems to oxidize a little more orange on my arm than it does on my face, but both CC Creams seem relatively pale.
My sister has darker skin that I do, and both of the CC Creams almost match her skintone. They both give a white cast which makes them unsuitable for her to use.

TonyMoly Luminous Live Aura CC Cream
The Luminous Live Aura CC Cream starts off as a pale pink runny liquid and turns slightly orange when blended. It covers my pores well, but gives me zero blemish coverage. It has a very dewy finish and tends to accentuate my fine lines, which is quite a big negative for me! It doesn't really have any oil control, so I tend to get quite shiny after about 2-3 hours.

TonyMoly Luminous Pure Aura CC Cream
The Luminous Pure Aura CC Cream is super duper dewy and moisturizing! I cannot wear this CC Cream outside without powdering otherwise I look quite sweaty. This CC Cream is warmer and paler than the Live Aura CC Cream so it suits my complexion better even though it oxidizes slightly darker.
What I Love
The Pure Aura is quite pale and warm toned
Easy to apply
Suits a variety of skin tones
Can be used as a "lazy face" or as a primer
SPF30 PA++

What I Don't Love
Very sheer coverage
Very very dewy

Final Thoughts
I definitely prefer the Pure Aura CC Cream over the Live Aura CC Cream! I think these are fantastic to use underneath foundations because they provide heaps of moisture. I use the Pure Aura CC Cream as a lazy face product because it has quite a high SPF value and I'm lazy! :3

What are your favorite CC Creams? I also have the Missha and Etude House CC Creams to try out!
