Review: Skin Food Fresh Apple Sparkling Pore Skincare

Hello Princesses!

This is going to be a super quick review on Skin Food's Fresh Apple Sparkling Pore Skincare! I bought these sample sets from Rose Rose Shop, and I chose them because I have large pores! Unfortunately these triggered my allergies so I wasn't able to use them more than 2 times, but I will give you my thoughts on the skincare series anyway!
These samples come in packs of two for the Toner and Emulsion, and ten for the Serum and Cream. I really like that the Toner and Emulsion come in mini bottles rather than the sachets that the Serum and Cream come in. I feel like the mini bottles of liquid waste less product, and make it easier to apply.

Skin Food - Fresh Apple Sparkling Pore Toner & Emulsion - 2 Set Samples

You can hardly see the toner on the swatches because it evaporated so fast! This makes me think that it probably contains quite a lot of alcohol, (it also smells like pure alcohol), which is probably why it irritated my skin so much. It didn't make any noticeable difference to my pores, and made my skin feel very tight.
The Emulsion is thicker, stickier and slower absorbing/evaporating than the toner. This Emulsion also smelt a lot like alcohol, (not as much as the Toner), but still more than most other products I've tried. The Emulsion didn't feel moisturizing, nor did it make any noticeable difference to my pores.
Skin Food - Fresh Apple Sparkling Pore Serum Samples

This Serum is quite thick, and at first I thought that they had mislabeled the Serum and Cream samples because I'm more used to having gel like serums and cream like creams! The Serum was quick to absorb, and left me feeling very matte and not very moisturized. Again, there was no noticeable difference to my pores.
Skin Food - Fresh Apple Sparkling Pore Cream Samples

This Cream is more like a Gel than a Cream! It absorbed very quickly and left me feeling matte and slightly dry. It didn't feel moisturizing at all, and there was no noticeable difference to my pores.
 Things I Love
- My face wasn't greasy when I woke up in the morning
- Doesn't look oily or greasy

Things I Don't Love
- Triggered my allergies
- Not moisturizing
- Made my skin feel tight
- No difference to pores

Final Thoughts
I wish I could have used this skincare longer, because the reviews online are actually quite good! However, because it triggered my allergies (if you want to read more about my allergies, check out My Skin Story) it isn't a good idea for me to continue this skincare line. It made my skin feel very matte, dry and slightly tight, so I think if you have very oily skin, this might be a good choice for you! If you have even slightly dry skin, I would stay away from this skincare line.

On another note, is Skin Food one word (SkinFood) or two words (Skin Food)? Every time I Google it I can find both!! ><

Review: Missha Signature Dramatic Foundation

Hello Princesses!

This is going to be a quick review on Missha's Signature Dramatic Foundation - No.21! As you guys know, I absolutely adore my Missha's BB Creams, (Signature Complete and Perfect Cover) and in one of my purchases, I got a little sample of this foundation. I saw that it was in the shade 21 (I'm usually 13) and was quite skeptical about it being a good colour match for me, but decided to try it anyway!

"Signature Dramatic for light and airy base makeup! 2) Containing Herba Care ingredient, newly developed for anti-irritation, and 10 organic complex and 32 herb complex, it keeps protecting skin even after finishing makeup.
3) Containing Lotus Water 34% with a purifying benefit, it keeps skin moisturized.

This foundation is incredibly warm toned, so if you're cool toned, this is not for you! The swatch looks pretty good on my arm, a little too dark, but not too drastic. I decided it was similar enough a colour to apply to my face.
On my face, it's pretty dark. I'm saved by the fact that it's a similar tone to my skin tone, (really yellow), but my immediate problem is that it's very dewy! I can see the terror in my eyes in the BB Cream photo above, and then the releif in the BB Cream and Powder photo where I managed to tone down the shine!

I used my Missha - The Style Art Designing Sebum-Cut Pact in Clear Mint, to set and brighten my foundation, because the it was just too dark and dewy for me! This worked pretty well, because without the powder, I wouldn't have dared go outside looking like I had fake tanned my face. ><

Texture and Coverage
This foundation has a moderately creamy texture, with medium to full coverage, and a dewy finish. It was easy to apply and blend into my skin, but if you are after a matte finish, make sure you have a finishing powder handy!

Oil control and Lasting Power
The oil control isn't great, because the foundation starts off so dewy, it appears oily from the start! It doesn't claim to control oil, and I certainly found that I got pretty oily in my T-Zone. The foundation colour and coverage lasted pretty well, even through the oil on my T-Zone!

Colour
This is a very warm toned, fair to medium colour. It's too dark for me, I wish they made it in shade 13!

Things I Love
- Great warm colour
- Good coverage without feeling heavy or cakey
- Colour and Coverage lasts well
- Easy to use

Things I Don't Love
- Too dewy, looks oily
- Too dark
- Little to no oil control
Final Thoughts
I really like aspects of this foundation, but as a whole, I don't think it's suitable for me. It's too dark, too dewy, and hasn't got enough oil control for me to be able to use it on a daily basis. If you have darker, dryer skin, I think this would be a great foundation!

Manicure Monday: Glitter Gradients

Hello Princesses!

This Monday I felt like some subtle glam, and decided on glitter gradients! As usual, i couldn't decided between two colours, so I decided to have one colour on each hand rather than doing feature nails like i usually do.

My left hand features I Love Nail Polishes gorgeous glitter; Ginger Spiced Latte.
My right hand is rocking OPI's Pink Yet Lavender
My gradients never really turn out as gradient-ed as I would like, but I still quite like how this manicure turned out! ^^ What do you princesses think?

Haul: Rose Rose Shop

Hello Princesses!

I'm back with another haul from Rose Rose Shop! Why do I have so many haul posts from Rose Rose? It's just so cheap, that when I go to buy one item, (this time I was after the Etude House Sweet Recipe Cupcake All Over Color in RD301 Raspberry Mousse Cake) I end up with a bunch of items, uh, "falling" into my cart and checking out with me!
As usual, I'll talk a little bit about the items I've tried, and if you would like to hear more about them, leave a comment at the bottom of this post!
Etude House - Goodbye Pore ever Pore Primer Stick - $6.40
I love this product, but I hate the application. The tube is great for travel, it's very sturdy and I can't imagine it breaking, but I really dislike rubbing the product on my face like a lipstick. That being said, it does work pretty well, so for $6.40 I have little to no regrets with this product!
Etude House - Sweet Recipe Cupcake All Over Color - RD301 Raspberry Mousse Cake - $5.20
I bought this on the recommendation from Lani Loves, and I love it! It's a perfect colour for lips and cheeks, blends like a dream, and doesn't show up my dry lips like it's sister colour Peach Sugar Cake. If you want to try this range, I highly suggest trying this colour! (And definitely not Peach Sugar Cake)
Etude House - Sweet Recipe Candy Stick - No.03 Lemon Candy - $3.60
I bought this so I could complete the Candy Stick set, and I'm glad I did! I don't love the taste, (Lemon has never been my favorite), but the colour is very natural, and the packaging is just too cute!
 It's Skin - Red Ginseng & 10 Formula Gift - 2 Set - $3.00
 It's Skin - Baby Face Finish Beam - No.02 Gold Beam - $4.40

This is not a subtle highlighter! It's a very pigmented almost metallic gold colour, but the packaging is just adorable! I really wanted the wings to stay on the packaging, so I glued them on!
 It's Skin - Baby Face BB Cream - No.02 Silky - $5.20
I don't get to say this often with the BB Creams I buy online, but I was pleasantly surprised! It's very warm toned, fair, with good coverage and not too dewy! I'm wondering if the No.01 is a similar colour, because if it is, I will be wanting to buy it too!

 Etude House - Cotton Puff - 80pcs - $0.80
I was wondering if these work any better for removing makeup than regular ones do! I used one to remove nail polish, and I think it worked better than the regular supermarket ones, but I may have just been fooling myself!
Skin Food - Platinum Grape Cell Essential BB Cream NO.01 - $3.60
Etude House Preious Mineral BB Dation No.02 Natural Beige - $ 3.00

Skin79 - Snail Nutrition BB Cream  - $ 3.00
Skin Food - Deep Sea Water Multi Gel (Brightening) - $3.00
Skin Food Deep Sea Water Multi Toner (Brightening) - $3.00

Honestly, I have so many samples at the moment I'm struggling to find room for them! I may have gone a little overboard, (again)! If you would like to hear more about any of these products, leave a comment bellow and I'll review them as soon as possible!
