Manicure Monday - Festive Fairy Lights

Hello Princesses!

Today I have really easy, festive manicure featuring a Christmas tree, terrible fairy lights and candy cane stripes! ^.^
I chose to use a white base for this manicure, and Color Club's Ho Ho Holly for the green and gold sparkled tree. I used a thin striper brush and a black polish to create the looped fairy lights, and dotted some random coloured fairy lights onto the strand. I used Sally Hansens red polish with the Color Club to create the messy candy cane stripes on my pinkie, (at least they're moderately straight this time - I'm getting better at drawing straight lines! ^.^)

Manicure Monday - It's officially OK to start Christmas Manicures!

Hello Princesses!

I'm so sorry for the little hiatus from blogging, if you follow my social media you will know that I have been in Gisborne for a little while and didn't have any internet to upload any reviews! >< But I will be back to my usual schedule from now on! ^.^
Today is the day. It's officially OK to start Christmassy stuff. To be quite honest the mall I work in has been fully decorated for Christmas for the past two weeks and even starting their Christmas music CD's, but I just can't bring myself to get into Christmas before December - it just feels wrong!

Today's manicure is a super cute Reindeer created with the Etude House Milk Chocolate polish for the basic head shape, Revlon's Hot Chocolate polish for the antlers and Zoya's Chyna polish for the glittery red nose! I wish I popped a bit of white into the ears to help define them (since they fade into my nail too much) but otherwise I love this cute little Christmas nail design! ^.^

What are your favorite Christmas nails like?

Manicure Monday: Silver Glitter Tips

Hello Princesses!

Today I have one of the most boring looking manicures to share with you - the Silver Glitter Tips manicure. Honestly (I feel like I say this ALL THE TIME) in real life it's an absolutely gorgeous manicure, however when photographed it just looks, ugh.
I love doing gradient tipped manicures, I think having the base of your natural nail showing just looks so elegant! For this manicure I dabbed a plain silver glitter polish down half of my nail, topped off the tip of the nail with a light gold polish (Zoya Godiva) and layered a chunky silver glitter over top for extra sparkle.

What do you Princesses think of this manicure? Too plain?

Manicure Monday: Louis Vuitton and Rhinestones

Hello Princesses!

Today I have the last manicure in my little designer mani series, which is a Louis Vuitton and Rhinestone manicure! I really love the Louis Vuitton Speedy bags, one day I'll be able to afford one of those *sigh* but until then, here's a manicure which is not based on Louis Vuitton bags, but literally just stuff I wanted to have on my nails this Monday.
I used Zoya's Gaia for the white base, and Designer Metal Plates and AB Rhinestones (2mm) from Fullmoon07! I really like how this manicure turned out, the white was much more wearable than I had anticipated but the LV metal plate looked really tiny on my long nails ><

What do you Princesses think about this manicure?

Manicure Monday: Pink and Gold Glitter Tips

Hello Princesses!

Do you guys ever have days when you just can't photograph the beauty you can see in front of you? This is one of my days. Meet one of my favorite 2 minute manicures, a pink jelly with gold glitter tipped beauty that just won't photograph accurately.
I've tried to photograph this on three separate occasions (that's how much I enjoy this manicure) and failed every time. -.- I used OPI's You callin' me a Lyre? for the nude-pink jelly base and brushed on a light layer of Zoya's Godiva  on the tips of my nails. It's got that subtle glam look that I adore and it also works well with other nudey base colours and different glitter tips!
