First Impression - Etude House Stay Up Foundation; Pure

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about the Etude House Stay Up Foundation in the shade 01 Pure. As I have now figured out, even though the shade "01 Pure" is number 1 in the list of 5 colours, it's not actually the lightest colour. 03 Ivory is actually the lightest colour (which makes absolutely no sense for me, like what colour is "Pure" anyway!?). However I cannot complain because I got this sample for free anyway.
What Does It Do?

This foundation has a thin texture and looks quite light and warm toned straight out of the tube. It does darken and mattify after about 10 minutes on my skin (although I haven't heard any other complaints about oxidization) so it does end up being way too dark for my skin tone.
The foundation has quite a matte finish for me, but it doesn't look dry or flakey. The foundation stayed on for about 8 hours, only needing a minor touch ups for oil control and slight wearing away of coverage on my nose and chin. I was quite impressed with the coverage for an Etude House product, it covered quite a bit of my acne scars (not everything of course).
Would I Purchase This Product?
Maybe in the Ivory if it's light enough? I quite liked the formulation, finish and lasting power of this foundation, but I don't like how much it oxidised on me! I especially liked that it has a buildable medium coverage (unlike a lot of Etude House's light coverage products). I really dislike how ambiguous the naming system is for this foundation, the lightest shade is the third, yet the lightest coloured packaging is on the second, and the first shade isn't the lightest. The names "Pure" and "Rosy" don't help at all either!! -.-

  1. That's so strange that the third shade is the lightest! You'd think that something called 'Pure' would be the lightest -.- sheesh Etude House
The foundation has really good coverage :o And it stayed on for so long, which is nice~ Generally BB creams don't have the greatest coverage nor lasting power...
