Store Review: Smith and Caugheys

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience with Smith and Caugheys! Smith and Caugheys are a department store in New Zealand that also have an online website. I have never shopped with Smith and Caugheys online since I usually drive up to Auckland to shop in person!

Website Practicality
I found it easy to create a login, fill my cart and checkout. I also found the website really good for searching specific products, and general browsing.
Price Comparison
In this instance I was looking for Benefit cosmetics, and there are only two places to purchase Benefit in New Zealand. Smith and Caugheys has a better shipping price for sure!

Sephora
Benefit Hoola Bronzer - $53 + Shipping - $10 = $63

Smith and Caugheys
Benefit Hoola Bronzer - $53 + Shipping - $5 = $58

Shipping and Packaging
I made my purchase on the 2nd of December and my package was shipped on the 5th. My package arrived promptly on the 6th of December! My products were unwrapped, so I do wonder if they would bubble wrap more delicate items. Otherwise, everything was in perfect condition.

Products
I bought a couple of gift sets and some presents!
 Cha Cha Charmers - $57
Kissy Missy - $45
Gimme Brow - $45
Posie Tint - $57
Dandelion Wishes - $59
Final Thoughts
I really enjoyed my shopping experience with Smith and Caugheys! I generally enjoy shopping in their physical store (unless the Chanel ladies are being mean) and shopping in their online store is no different, just minus the pushy shop assistants. My only gripe is that their free shipping spend is quite high at $175, but otherwise I really enjoyed my shopping experience!

  1. If you're ever in Wellington, David Jones sells Benefit in store! It's great for swatches.
