Fail or Holy Grail Review: Beauty Blender

Today I'm going to be talking about the Original Beauty Blender! This is such a Holy Grail tool for so many Princesses, and it is for me too! I've been using a beauty blender since 2012 and still can't find a tool that beats it for a flawless foundation application.

Beauty blenders usually come in really good packaging that is designed to be utilised as a storage and drying method. These make sure that the beauty blenders dry properly and don't go mouldy - yuck.

Beauty blenders come in a couple of different sizes and colours, though I quite like the original neon pink! They are smooth and spherical, though if you get up close you can see the detail of the sponge.

After a while the Beauty Blenders do loose the neon colour, and with wear they do start to break down. The sponge on the left is one year old, whereas the sponge on the left is brand new.

I find these sponges so easy to use, they always blend my make up perfectly and I never have any issues with them whatsoever. There aren't many photos to show you, so if you're interested in seeing how I use my beauty blender then check out the Youtube review at the top of this post! ^ ^

Just as a bonus, I got the solid cleanser too and I absolutely adore it. My brushes feel softer than they've ever been and it's much quicker to use that my old liquid one.

What I Love

- I don't consider them expensive at $34NZD
- Blends make up seamlessly

- The solid cleanser is really nice too

Final Thoughts

I absolutely love using my Beauty Blender, it definitely is one of my Holy Grail beauty products! There is really nothing I don't like about it and it just works so well for any foundation or BB Cream, the only tool that comes close to how well the Beauty Blender works is the Etude House Cushion Puff, but I find the Cushion Puff a little harder to use around small areas like my nose and eyes. I think paying $34NZD is fair because of how well it works for me, though I understand that a lot of people don't want to pay that much for a wee sponge. 

I would definitely recommend the Beauty Blender for any Princesses wanting to try a good sponge!
