Fail or Holy Grail Review: Cellabon RX Naturatox 3 in 1 UV Essence Sunblock + Essence + Make Up Base

Hello Princesses!
Today I'm going to be talking about the Cellabon RX Naturatox 3 in 1 UV Essence SPF 50+! Korean sunscreens usually work well for my skin, so how did this one end up in the Fail pile?

"Description:This practical 3 in 1 product is tailored to suit modern women's lifestyles and provide them with healthier and more radient skin. Sheer, light weight essence with SPF50+ PA+++ & a hint of color is used in place of make-up base for a natural appearance. In just one step, skin ideally protected from broad spectrum of UVA and UVB rays and free radical damage, instantly refreshed and revitalized, and its texture is improved with a sheer was of pearl powder color. Botanically-rich complex incorporated with the valuable extracts refreshes and hydrates your skin, and banishes dullness by promoting clarity and brightness. For all skin types.

To Use: After day time skincare routine, smooth evenly over face and neck. Can be used as a make up base."(1)

The outer packaging of this sunscreen is frustrating because it's entirely metalic. The actual sunscreen packaging is equally as frustrating because it needs to be stood up on a stand, it won't stand by itself!
The rest of the packaging is quite elegant, the dark blue is really beautiful and it has an on and off switch on the back.
The sunscreen itself seems white in colour and quite thin in texture. It's easy to spread across the skin and absorbs quite quickly.
However, like the product description says it leaves a pearl powder finish. This is great in theory, but becomes very overwhelming all over the face.
From a distance it looks quite nice, my skin looks luminescent and glowy which I really like!
However, when you look closer my skin suddenly becomes pore city!
The luminescent qualities make my pores appear cavernous. It's awful, and it makes me feel awful about my pores! I did try using a pore filler over the sunscreen, but it didn't work at all!
I applied the Cellabon Sunscreen to the photo left side of my face, and the Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Mousse to the photo right side of my face, and you can see which one looks better. The Cellabon Sunscreen brings so much light to my face and makes it look so glowy, but the pores!
I didn't find that the Cellabon Sunscreen had any effect on the longevity of my foundation, but even with foundation on you can see the difference in pore size.
I just think it makes me look sweaty and awful, I just hate the way this works for my skin! If this was just a make up base I could avoid applying it to my pores, but since it's a sunscreen I can't really just skip a patch of skin!

What I Love
- Great price at $23USD
- Gives my skin an overall glow

What I Don't Love
- Very intense brightening effect that emphasises flaws
- Makes pores appear HUGE
- I don't feel any skincare benefits

Final Thoughts
Though I love how glowy this sunscreen makes my perfect skin look, I absolutely hate how it makes the imperfect skin look. I do have large pores, and the brightening effect makes them look absolutely cavernous, it's just not a good look for my skin. I feel like this sunscreen is trying to do too many things at the same time, and it just doesn't work for me at all.

I would recommend this Sunscreen, Essence and Make Up Base for any Princesses that are looking for an intensely glowy sunscreen! ^ ^
