East VS West Review: Benefit Hydrating Lip Tints VS Tony Moly Petite Bunny Gloss Bars

Today I'm going to be talking about the Benefit Hydrating Lip Tints VS Tony Moly Petite Bunny Gloss Bars! I really liked the Benefit Lip Balms and reviewed them recently, however I can't justify the price of them so I thought I would find some dupes!

Product

Posiebalm vs Neon Red

Posietint and Neon Red are fairly close in colour, though Neon Red is a little warmer in tone.

On the lips it's very hard to tell the difference between the two colours. Obviously since they are tinted balms quite a lot of my natural lip colour comes through so even though there is a slight difference in colour between the two, they look almost exactly the same when being worn.

Lollibalm vs Juicy Strawberry

Lollibalm and Juicy Strawberry are two colours that I wouldn't expect to look the same, I assumed that the Grape colour would be a better dupe!

However, since Juicy Strawberry is a very cool toned pink it actually looks more like Lollibalm than the Grape shade does!

Bebenablm vs Juicy Cherry

Benebalm and Juicy Cherry are great dupes, though Benebalm is a lot more pigmented.

The pigmentation of Benebalm is not a plus for me, since these are balms I find that the pigmentation of Benebalm makes it much more obvious when it wears off, and I find that the Benefit balms slide around my lips much more than the Tony Moly bars do.

Chachabalm vs Neon Orange

Chachabalm and Neon Orange are the closest dupes.

These look exactly the same on my arm and exactly the same on my lips.

Final Thoughts

Aside from the price, these two products are very very similar. I prefer the formula of the Tony Moly Gloss Bars because they are slightly waxier, this makes them adhere to my lips a little easier and the colour doesn't build up and slide around. I do really like the Benefit Hydrating Lip Balms, I think that I actually like Posiebalm better than the dupe, but for the price I probably will not purchase them full size. I'm just not sure why a tinted lip balm would cost quite so much. However, if you love Benefit as a brand these lip balms really are lovely and work really well! If you prefer KBeauty brands, the Tony Moly Petite Bunny Gloss Bars are a great dupe!
