Review - Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Pact

(Sponsored)
Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about the Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Pact! This little beauty has been on my wish list for quite some time now, partly due to it's super cute mint green packaging, and partly to do with it's claims to help control sebum! This product was kindly sent to me for review by Skinlosophy.
The INNISFREE No Sebum Mineral Pact comes housed in a simple, 100% recyclable card box printed with soy ink, and costs $16AUD from Skinlosophy. The box has English instructions as well as Korean, but no English ingredients. I actually can't find English ingredients anywhere!

The pressed powder packaging is simple and cute, with the compact being a lovely mint green colour and the powder itself embossed with leaves. The compact has no scent, and is quite a good size (smaller than my palm) - big enough to swirl a large brush in, but small enough to fit into a bag cellphone pocket. It comes with a cute little sponge and a clear plastic separator which makes this compact perfect for popping in your bag for touch ups!
Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Pact is an oil controlling pressed powder encased in a cute green packaging.

Formulated with nourishing Jeju natural minerals and mint extracts, this powder takes away shine from your face to leave you with fresh looking skin.

This powder pact is translucent in colour, making it perfect for every skin tone.

My favourite way to use this pressed powder is to swirl a fluffy brush into the powder and dab it lightly all over my face. The powder mattifies my face really well and leaves a very slight white cast. It helps my skin stay matte for about 5 hours, and then like most other setting powders it needs to be blotted and reapplied.
I find that this powder really smooths my pores out too which is an added bonus! ^.^

 What I Love
- Mattifies my face
- Leaves a slight white cast
- Recyclable packaging
- Helps smooth out pores

What I Don't Love
- Only stays oil free for about 5 hours
 Final Thoughts
I quite like this powder for touch ups during the day because it's so portable and instantly mattifies my face, however I prefer to use a loose powder to set my makeup at the start of the day rather than a pressed powder. I found that this pressed powder gave me about 5 hours of oil free skin and helped smooth out the pores around my nose, plus it's got super cute and functional packaging! I would definitely recommend this pressed powder for anyone wanting a cute, portable powder to help with short term oil control.

Thanks so much to Skinlosophy for sponsoring this product! ^.^

  1. Hi! I don't know how else to contact you with recommendations but as another extremely pale yet warm toned women with problematic skin I have two suggestions for you that I think would be helpful to you. The first is the Meow Cosmetics mineral foundation. They have great coverage and the best pale shade selection I have ever seen. They have ghostly pale shades in like 14 different undertones. The other lifesaver product I have come across is Face Atelier Ultra Foundation in the color Zero Minus, which is a highly pigmented white liquid foundation that a couple drops of will lighten an almost perfect but slightly too dark foundation to the right shade without affecting the formula. If you've heard of these already then I apologize but if you haven't I hope you check them out!

    1. Ooh thank you for the suggestions! I've tried the Meow Cosmetics (review is coming up soon!) but I've never seen the Face Atelier Ultra Foundation before and this sounds like the stuff of day dreams, as a normal white mixer dilutes the formula of the foundations so much that there is no full or light coverage or any point of buying a lovely expensive foundations! I'll have to find a way of getting it to New Zealand without the $65 shipping (whaaaaaaaaaaaaat). Thanks so much for the suggestions! :3

    1. I definitely love it for touch ups! It replaced my Missha compact because it's a lot smaller and lighter! I just have to remind myself to clean the puff regularly! ><

    1. Ooh that's a little tough! I definitely prefer loose powder for initial applications, but I always keep a pressed powder in my handbag for touch ups and prefer a pressed powder for traveling since my loose powders always spill! It depends on what you need it for really! ;)

  4. I'm not quite convinced about these oil controlling products, but I did think about getting this for quite a while. I might just stick my regular rimmel compact though, seems like it does the same job haha.

    1. I definitely feel you on this one, I haven't really found a powder that really controls my oily face, even though most claim to! If you're satisfied with your Rimmel one I would stick with it :3

  5. Hello Becca! Thank you so much for the review. I ordered the loose powder version a few weeks ago, I hope it come soon.
I think this is one of the first times I comment here (if I'm not mistaken) and I really do not know why. Your blog is definitely one of my favorites, I really enjoy reading your posts. With your reviews I have decided to try new things, like a few days ago I made my first purchase at TesterKorea. I hope you continue with the good work you have been doing all along. Sorry for not having mentioned that before. I wish you a nice day. Greetings from México!

  6. Hi Becca! I know you wrote this post almost 2 years ago, but I just recently saw this. Do you think the powder lightened your foundation up a bit when you used this? I recently bought a cushion and the color is a tad dark on my skin >_< so I thought maybe a powder like this could lighten the color up just a bit and control my oil. Please let me know. Take care!
