First Impressions - Benefit It's Potent! Eye Cream

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about Benefit's It's Potent! Eye Cream. I got this itty bitty miniature eye cream when I purchased Benefit's Porefessional last, last year (2013) and have been using it on and off since then!
What Does It Do?
"Your eyes can't keep a secret...they're the first to show signs of age & stress. It's potent! eye cream fades dark circles & helps smooth fine lines for brighter, younger-looking eyes. Contains a peptide complex known to help restore elasticity & firmness, a blend of hydrating botanical extracts and loquat extract, known to help protect the skin from free radical damage.

How to apply
Apply delicately under the eyes." (1)
This eye cream is housed in a super cute miniature jar, (which I will totally keep and fill up with other products for traveling) and has lasted me forever and a half - and by that I mean like a whole year! The eye cream is really thick, but absorbs relatively quickly. It makes my under eye area feel hydrated and smooth, but I haven't seen any wrinkle smoothing effects over the past year of use.
Would I Purchase This Product?
No, this eye cream is relatively expensive in New Zealand, and although it makes my eyes feel quite moisturized and smooth, it doesn't help my under eye wrinkles and fine lines at all, (and for the price I would expect it would!).

  1. I don't think you should be so discouraged by this cream! In the before and after pictures I do see a difference! The smaller lines are much more diminished and the deeper line is shallower in the after picture ^_^

  2. I actually saw quite a significant difference in the before and after photo! But yeah, I'm not going to lie, Benefit are incredibly expensive here in Australia too. I don't think I could justify spending $50 on a little pot of eye cream unless it was really, really good.
