Manicure Monday: Mummy, Daughter, Sister Manicure

Hello Princesses!

Today I have a very special manicure! ^.^ It's a manicure that I did with my mum and sister before I left to go back to University, (I'm such a sissy when it comes to leaving my parents!) >< So before I left, we had a little coffee/movie/manicure date!
We used OPI's Princesses Rule! as the pink, and Kleancolor's Puppy Love as the blue glitter. I think the manicure looks super cute! ^.^ I'm sorry I didn't get a better photo, I was super busy packing and preparing everything to leave in the morning! ><

First Impression: The Face Shop Mango Seed Cleansing Butter

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be introducing the very first of my First Impressions Series! ^.^ I decided to start this review series so I could talk about my first impressions of samples that I receive. I don't think that I can always provide a decent review based on one sachet of product (I can only use it once or twice!) so these reviews will show you my immediate impression, what the product does, and whether I would buy the full size product!

First up is The Face Shop - Mango Seed Cleansing Butter!
I've had this Mango Seed Cleansing Butter sample for a little while, and I was so intrigued by it because I'd never tried a cleansing butter! I'm always a little apprehensive about trying skincare samples, because they never have English ingredients lists on them, and I don't want to have an allergic reaction -.-

What Does It Do?
Unfortunately there were no English instructions and very little reviews on this product, but from what I understand, it's a cleansing butter that can remove makeup and should be used in a double cleansing routine.

The Cleansing Butter is a gorgeous, sunshine yellow colour, and is very thick in texture. It melts on the skin in colourless, thin layer and feels very silky and soft!
I used this to remove my face makeup (excluding eyes) and I found that it was really similar to Lush's Ultrabland! I applied the Cleansing Butter with my fingers, massaging it in, and then removed it with a cotton pad and followed it up with Trilogy's Cream Cleanser.
This photo was taken after removing the Cleansing Butter, but before using the Trilogy Cleanser. My skin looks hydrated, moisturized, (slightly oily) and clean! This Cleansing Butter left my skin feeling very clean and moisturized (more moisturized than normal!)

Would I Purchase This Product?
Yes, I think it's such an interesting product! It made my skin feel very moisturized, clean, and it didn't break me out! There's a whole Mango Seed Skincare line, (although they are on the expensive side), that I would love to try!

Review: Cherry Culture

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience at Cherry Culture! ^.^

This is my second time shopping at Cherry Culture, but it's the first time I've done a group order myself! Generally, the shipping expenses are too high to shop alone (unless you're doing a huge bulk order!) so the PANZ group does semi-regular orders!
Browsing Cherry Culture is really easy, you can chose to shop by brand, or by feature (lips, face etc) which I really love! They mainly sell western drugstore products, but the majority of produts they sell you can't buy over the counter in NZ. In this order I seriously wanted to buy so much more, but my wallet cried the tears of the student life, so I restrained myself. (This time anyway)

NYX Powder Blush - Taupe
NYX Butter Gloss - Peaches and Cream
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream - Amsterdam & Sao Paulo
Cherry Culture Lip Balm - Raspberry (Free with order!)
LA Girl 3D Effect - Teal Dimension
(I actually bought 3 of these accidentally ><)

Things I Love
- Frequent Sales
- Cheap products
- Securely packed (never had broken goods)
- Products that are harder to find in NZ
- Easy to navigate website

Things I Don't Love
- Expensive and Costly Shipping
- Need to do group orders

Final Thoughts
I really liked shopping at Cherry Culture! I only shop there during their big sales to get the best price, (there are other NZ based stores that sell the same priced cosmetics), and when i do shop there, I do group orders for cheaper shipping. I think if Cherry Culture had cheaper (or free!) shipping, I would shop there a lot more often!

Manicure Monday: Mummy Daughter Manicure

Hello Princesses!

This Monday I have a matching manicure with my Mum! ^^ To create this manicure, I started with a base colour of OPI's You're such a Budapest. Then, I layered OPI's Happy Anniversary over three of my nails, and finished the manicure off with OPI's Snow you love me in a semi circle pattern on the shimmery purple nails, and a straight line on plain purple feature nail!
I really liked the glitter effect of Snow you love me! The circle glitter looks like little sequins or diamantes, but they lie flat to the nail! This is a lot better for people (like my mum) that work, and aren't very gentle with their nails, because the glitter doesn't stick up or catch on anything, but still looks cute and sparkly! I had to fish for the the glitter, and apply using a toothpick, but I think it was worth the effect!
 Hereditary bent pinkies!
I thought this manicure was so cute for both my Mum and I! What do you princesses think? (:
