Manicure Monday: Laziest "Christmas" Manicure Ever

Hello Princesses!

This Monday I felt like getting into the Christmas spirit, but didn't feel like I wanted to spend hours doing my nails! So I did the easiest Christmas nails in the world. So easy, they're barely even Chrismas themed.
On my left hand I had Zoya's Chyna, which is an absolutely gorgeous liquid sand. Usually this polish has a matte appearance, but I top-coated it to help the diamantes and bows on my nails stick. I actually quite like the glossy look!

On my right hand I have Zoya's Chyna (in it's natural state) with a full dimantied ring finger.

For me, this is a really lazy manicure, but people keep staring at my nails and thinking that I was either really really bored or just plain crazy and impractical. Strangers also automatically assume that they're acrylics, I think it's the Almond/Oval shaping.

If your wondering how I think these are Christmassy ... It's because they're red. If you're wondering how they were easy ... I had the diamante ring finger from a previous manicure and the liquid sand dry's faster and harder than other polishes ><

Review: Etude House Silk Scarf Hologram Hair Serum

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be reviewing the highly requested Etude House Silk Scarf Hologram Hair Serum! I bought this Hair Serum from RoseRoseShop for $5.20USD

The Hair Serum comes in a cute little pink plastic container and is dispensed by a pump. The pump took quite a few pumps before the Hair Serum would come out, and very little is dispensed.

The Hair Serum is very dense and has a thick viscosity. It's very very sticky, and after applying it to my hair I have to wash my hands before touching anything else! Even resting flat, the Hair Serum still takes time to settle flat.
For my hair, I need about 3-4 pumps of the Hair Serum to cover one half of my hair. That's quite a lot considering the bottle is quite small!

I have moderately frizzy hair that's naturally wavy, so I did two tests with the Hair Serum. With the first test, I applied the Hair Serum to the left half (right half on photo) of my hair and let it dry naturally, while leaving the other half plain.

The Hair Serum didn't make much, or any, difference to my hair. It didn't make my hair feel any nicer, nor did it make it look any healthier or shinier. Both sides looked and felt the same.

For the next test, I applied the the Hair Serum to the left side of my hair (right on photos) at night, and then french braided my hair into pigtails to sleep in! If I wash my hair at night I absolutely ALWAYS sleep in plaits (otherwise my hair gets too tangly) and it makes really lovely waves when I unbraid it in the morning.
I found that the Hair Serum made very minimal difference to my hair. Again, it didn't make my hair feel any nicer, nor did it make it look any healthier or shinier. Both sides looked and felt the same. If I get really picky and look super close, I guess the Hair Serum made my hair ever so slightly smoother, but it not very noticeably.
What I Love
- Fairly inexpensive
- Slightly smoothing

What I Don't Love
- Need to use A LOT (not great value for money)
- Doesn't make my hair look any nicer, healthier or shinier
-  Very sticky texture, need to wash my hands afterwards

Final Thoughts
I usually adore any and all Etude House products, but this one fell quite flat, and I am not a fan. Before purchasing this Hair Serum I did read a couple of reviews and they were all quite negative! I decided to purchase it anyway because a lot of the negative comments were centered around the fact that the Hair Serum made their hair feel greasy or heavy. While I personally didn't find that my hair felt greasy or heavy, (I have very thick heavy hair anyway) I found that it really didn't do anything at all, so I may as well not be using it!

I hope this review was useful for you princesses! ^^ Have you got any Holy Grail haircare items you think I should try?

Haul: Rose Rose Shop

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be sharing my haul from Rose Rose Shop! ^^ I really needed a new translucent powder ... then a couple of other items just kind of ... ah .... fell into my shopping cart! :3

I won't do full reviews on this post because it would just be WAY too long, but I will share some first impressions about some of the items! If you're interested in seeing an item in a full review make sure to let me know in the comments below and I'll try my best to make it happen ASAP! ^^
I bought these two BB Cream because Findation told me that they would be a good match for my skin tone. Findation was sadly mistaken :c

Skin Food - Peach Sake Silky Finish Powder - $8.72

I'm totally in love with this product, but not the packaging. It's such a bother to travel with because along with being quite bulky, it also has a little hole punched in the top which means the powder leaks out.

Missha - The Style Perfect Eye Brow Styler - Black - $3.20

Etude House - Missing U Hand Cream I Can Fly - Green Kakapo - $4.40
Etude House - Missing U Lip Balm - Green Kakapo

I love the idea of these products, and the packaging is absolutely adorable! You are definitely paying for the packaging and not the product in this case, but once I empty the hand cream I will definitely be keeping the little owl to store things in. Too cute!! :3

Etude House - Correct Care CC Cream - Silky Samples - $3.00
Etude House - Correct Care CC Cream - Glow Samples - $3.00
Etude House - Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base - Berry Samples - $3.00
Etude House - Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base - Mint Samples - $3.00

Skin Food - Good Afternoon Honey Black Tea BB Cream Samples - $3.00
Elisha Coy - Always Tripple BB Cream Samples - $4.00
BRTC - Jasmine Water BB Cream Samples - $3.00
Skin Food - Broccoli Sun Cream Spf 42 Samples

Skin Food - Fresh Apple Sparkling Pore Toner & Emulsion - 2 Set Samples - $2.40
Skin Food - Fresh Apple Sparkling Pore Serum Samples - $2.40
Skin Food - Fresh Apple Sparkling Pore Cream Samples - $2.40

I tried this, but did not have a good time with the set. It's definitely suited for oily skinned girls, and definitely NOT suited for anyone with dry skin.

Etude House - Wonder Pore Special Trial Kit - $6.00

The same goes for this set. Dry skin? Stay away!

Etude House - Moistfull Collagen Skin Care Kit Samples - 5 Set - $3.00

I can't believe I got all of this for $3.00. That is a CRAZY good deal, especially when you consider how big the sample bottles are! They don't stock this deal anymore, but instead have this set which is almost as good! Etude House - Moistfull Collagen Skin Care Kit - 3 Set - $3.00

Etude House - Ice Cream Nalis (Nails) - $1.60 each

Love love love LOVE these polishes! At first I only purchased them for the cute factor (upside down ice-cream? Yes please!) but I actually quite like the quality and colours of the polish. For $1.60 each they are something worth buying.

Rose Rose Shop wrapped these polishes so securely, I am so impressed! But it really irritates me that Rose Rose doesn't sell one of the colours. The Blueberry shade evades me, and if someone buys me that one polish for Christmas I will love them forever!

Innisfree - Eco Beauty Tool Blackhead Out Brush - $8.00
Missha - Professional Rounding Angle Foundation Brush - $11.84

I thought long and hard about buying these two brushes because I couldn't find reviews on them and they are a little pricey! I'm glad i took the risk with the Missha because I love it, but not so much luck with the Innisfree brush. :c

*Phew* That was bigger and longer than I thought it would be! ^^ If you guys are interested in seeing some reviews on the items I purchased, let me know in the comments below!

Manicure Monday: Ice Cream Nails

Hello Princesses!

This Monday I used my Etude House Ice Cream nail polishes to create an Ice Cream themed manicure! ^^
I think this manicure looks super cute, and people could actually tell that they were supposed to be chocolate topped ice cream! :3
I really like the formula and application of these polishes, but the colours all together are a little funny looking in my opinion! I absolutely adore the packaging though, upside down ice creams! So cute!!
