Manicure Monday - I've Never Built A Snowman

Hello Princesses!

Today I have some super cute Snowman nails on! As most of you may know, in New Zealand Christmas time is during the Summer, so while these nails are not exactly appropriate for me to celebrate Christmas, they are incredibly cute and easy to create!

I used a white Etude House polish for the base, and dotted on the eyes using a large dotting tool (a round sewing pin would do the trick if you don't own one), dotted the mouth with a small dotting tool (bobby pins work well for this too) and a small brush with the Etude House Orange Ice Cream polish to create the carrot nose. It's super easy and super cute! ^.^

I've never built a Snowman before since it doesn't snow near where I live, have you built a Snowman before? 

Manicure Monday: Rose Gold

Hello Princesses!

This Monday I'm wearing a super cute, sparkle-tastic manicure featuring ILNP's Ginger Spice Latte and another style of water decal!

This water decal sort of failed too, >< I didn't realize it was transparent (unlike the previous one) so you can see the glitter through the rose. You can't see it so much from a distance, but it just looks a little weird in the photo! I still love the mani though, it looks super sparkly and it makes me very happy! ^^

Manicure Monday: Peek-a-boo Bling

Hello Princesses!

 This Monday I tried TWO things I've never tried before, Water Decals and Peek-a-boo Bling!

I found the idea for this manicure through Grace from Polish Armoire when she linked this gorgeous mani from Lucysstash. There are a couple of things I'd do differently next time, including the atrocious blinged index finger. It just did NOT turn out the way I wanted it to!

Unfortunately since my nails are Squoval, it means that the bling wasn't very even underneath my nail tips, but I think it still looks super cute! To start with the little gems felt very irritating, but after a while I got used to it!

The water decals also proved a little challenging, and semi-disintegrated. I'm not sure how it happened (twice) but I'll try a different method next time! They looked so cute and a little fancy! ^^ 

I'm sorry about the erratic blogging and lack of social media updates, the bf has gone back to Taipei and I'm still adjusting to the crippling boredom and loneliness!

Manicure Monday: Pink Polka Dots

Hello Princesses!

I'm so sorry for the longer than normal absence, I've just finished my honours recital and Gala concert, still ROSL and GIMC to go though!

This Monday I tried to make a simple bow, which turned out to be ... not so simple!

Despite looking a little uneven and fuzzy, I quite liked this mani! It looks ultra cute and girly!

If you're wondering how I grew my nails so long in one week, I have a bit of a confession to make! About a month ago when I had Almond shaped nails I did new nail art everyday because I'd never had Almond shaped nails before and I was so excited with the new possibilities! I liked the photo's so much that I decided to include them all in my Manicure Monday's series, and take a couple of weeks off during my exams to test out the Vinylux polishes (week long polish) so that I wouldn't stress out trying to get pictures done for my blog. You guys will be seeing the results I compiled for my Vinylux review this Thursday! ^^

Manicure Monday: Milani Holographic Gradient

Hello Princesses!

This Monday I'm wearing Milani's Holographic polishes; Hi-Res, Cyberspace and HD in a gradient! ^^ 

The gradient looked super sparkly in real life, the flash photography shows off the colours better! 

I'm still pretty much in love with this collection of polishes! :3 Also look at how long my nails are getting! Eeep! This is the longest they've ever been, EVER! I'm incredibly excited because I've always had trouble getting them to grow because they are quite flimsy and tend to just break off. :/
