Manicure Monday: Midnight Sparkles

Hello Princesses!

Today I have a really lovely manicure with a deep midnight blue jelly polish - Color Club's Blue-topia and and a beautiful silver glitter polish - Maybellines Sequins! You can see that my names are getting less and less inventive.
I love this manicure, but Blue-Topia is really difficult to get off your fingers without staining everything blue, and I mean EVERYTHING. I stained my nice white top, tabletop and ALL of my fingers blue taking that polish off, but I'm so in love with the colour and jelly finish!

Do you Princesses have a less annoying dupe for Color Club Blue-Topia?

Manicure Monday: Angel Burp

Hello Princesses!

This Monday's Manicure comes from I Love Nail Polish! I've been hanging onto a whole bunch of these polishes with intent to review them, but every time I go to write up a post about them another sale comes on and I buy more! ><

Having said that; I think I have found my absolute favorite so far; Angel Burp.
As hilariously cute as I find the name, it's actually quite apt in terms of describing the polish! It's like Angel's have vomited gorgeous feminine glitter all over my nails. (although I think Angel Vomit is a better descriptive name it's not quiiiteeeee as pleasant sounding as Angel Burp!)

But needless to say, I'm totally in love with this polish! ^^

Stay tuned for the review on Thursday! ;)

Review: Born Pretty Store Holographic Polish

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be reviewing the new Holographic Polish from Born pretty!

Born pretty gave away 200 bottles of their polish and I was one of the lucky ones to receive one! ^^ These polishes retail for $12.88 USD each.
I chose #6 which is a light champagne colour and looks absolutely gorgeous on! With inside light the polish looks very subtle and sophisticated, and near a light source and outside it shines like rainbows, sunshine and happiness!

The bottles are smaller than average, being only 6ml compared to OPI which are 15ml. The Born Pretty polish works out more expensive by the ml than the OPI, with Born pretty coming to $2.78 (NZD) per ml, and OPI being $1.83 (NZD)
Overall I found that the polishes consistency was great, and I had no problems with the brush. I would definitely purchase more of the holo's if they were cheaper!

Things I love
Gorgeous colours
Good variety of colours
Free shipping
Good consistency
Strong holographic effect

Things I don't love
Quite expensive for a small amount

These holo's are currently 57% off which brings them down to $5.59 (USD) per bottle! While your there and decide to buy even more things (which you will, trust me!) You can use my coupon code LPPK31 to get 10% off non-sale items! So check out Born pretty while the holo sale is still on!

Manicure Monday: I Don't Give A Rotterdam!

Hello Princesses!

I am so so so sorry about my long absence! I'll have a short post tomorrow explaining why I was away for so long!

In the meantime, here is today's Manicure Monday, OPI - I don't give a Rotterdam! I was looking at buying this polish while I was shopping with my little sister Emily, but she convinced me to just borrow hers to see if I liked it enough first! ^^ So kind of her!
The stormy blue gray of the polish definitely suited the cold wet day we had in Hamilton today!

Manicure Monday: Cosmos

Hello Princesses!

Today's manicure comes straight from Picture Polish!

"Cosmos was created with Camille from Pshiiit Boutique   Inspiration: Camille's obsession with everything blue! Cosmos is a dark navy holographic (scattered) and has NO glitter Cosmos contains a holographic shimmer for that extra special touch and more rainbows of course!"

This polish is totally gorgeous! I wore it from Thursday to this Monday morning. The polish was super smooth and easy to apply, and lasted 5 days without chipping or dulling, which is a pretty amazing feat for my fingernails.

I adore this polish! I'll be reviewing the other shade I purchased, Monroe, later on in the week when I get my stuff sorted! ><
