Provided for Review: Château Labiotte Wine Gel Nail Polish

Hello Princesses!
Today I'm going to be talking about the Château Labiotte Wine Gel Nail Polish! It's been so long since I talked about nail polishes on here, but I was so excited when BB Cosmetic reached out and offered to send these polishes to me for review because they are just SO cute!

Fail Product: Etude House Liquid Dispenser

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about the Etude House Liquid Dispenser! This is going to be a super short fail review because I can't actually find any of these for sale anywhere, and I bought mine in an Etude House store in Taipei. There are other similar options of pump bottles from other brands such as TonyMoly, but I can't find any information on the Etude House one anywhere!
This little see-through bottle is a liquid dispenser from Etude House. These are absolutely everywhere in Taipei cosmetics stores, filled with makeup remover or nail polish remover, so you can try on makeup or polishes and take the off again in the store if they look awful! These are super handy because you just pop a little cotton pad on the top and press it down. They're so easy to use when one had is wet with nail polish or covered in foundation, and you're supposed to be able to store any liquid in these for easy dispersal.
However since this is a fail review, there is something fundamentally wrong with it. I bought it to dispense my nail polish remover easily, but the nail polish remover evaporates out of the dispenser, even when the lids closed! I literally went through a whole bottle of polish remover; it evaporated and leaked out the side of the lid when I tipped it over. -.-

This is fabulous for storing oil cleansers, toners or other liquids that don't evaporate quickly, but to be able to store nail polish remover I would need to seal the top with petroleum jelly to stop the evaporation. However, it's amazing for storing other liquids due to the no spill build, and that you don't have to physically pick it up to use it!

What I Love
- Inexpensive (mine was about $2NZD)
- Great for liquid removers other than nail polish remover
- Doesn't spill if it's tipped over accidentally
- Clear, so you can see what's in it!

What I Don't Love
- Unable to hold nail polish remover
- I can't find the Etude House ones online at all!

Final Thoughts
I love this little dispenser and the idea behind it, but I just wish it sealed fully so that the polish remover didn't evaporate! I never saw any of the bottles on display ever having this sort of effect, but I guess they were used all day every day anyway. I will continue to use this little pump bottle for my oil cleanser, but it would have been so much better if I could have used it for polish remover since most of my other cleansers come with pumps anyway.

Manicure Monday - It's officially OK to start Christmas Manicures!

Hello Princesses!

I'm so sorry for the little hiatus from blogging, if you follow my social media you will know that I have been in Gisborne for a little while and didn't have any internet to upload any reviews! >< But I will be back to my usual schedule from now on! ^.^
Today is the day. It's officially OK to start Christmassy stuff. To be quite honest the mall I work in has been fully decorated for Christmas for the past two weeks and even starting their Christmas music CD's, but I just can't bring myself to get into Christmas before December - it just feels wrong!

Today's manicure is a super cute Reindeer created with the Etude House Milk Chocolate polish for the basic head shape, Revlon's Hot Chocolate polish for the antlers and Zoya's Chyna polish for the glittery red nose! I wish I popped a bit of white into the ears to help define them (since they fade into my nail too much) but otherwise I love this cute little Christmas nail design! ^.^

What are your favorite Christmas nails like?

Store Review - Etude House Global

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping adventure with a super new store - Etude House Global store! Obviously Etude House is not a new brand, but this is the first time I've been able to order directly from their store and not through another store that stocks Etude House. I placed an order literally on the first day that they opened their store because they had some cute little freebie tempters advertised and I just can't help myself! I love freebies and sales, it's just in my nature ^.^

Website Practicality
The website is aesthetically very pleasing for me, but potentially quite vomit inducing for some considering it's very very pink and princesses themed. Obviously I enjoy both pink and princesses so I love the aesthetics of the site, but I can appreciate that others may not feel the same way! I like that they have separate tabs for Face, Lips, Nails etc across the top and a massive search bar so I find it really easy to navigate!

Price Comparison
I found this to be such an interesting comparison, do Etude House Global sell their products for more or less than other stores do? So just like usual, I've added one of the Etude House Princess Etoienette Lipsticks to my cart and picked shipping to New Zealand. (Prices in NZD)

Etude House Global
Lipstick $16.56 + Shipping $10.79 = $27.35

TesterKorea
Lipstick $15.69NZD + Shipping $4.80 = $20.49

RoseRoseShop
Lipstick $13.19 + Shipping $5.55 = $18.74

KollectionK
Lipstick $17.40 + Shipping $8.93 = $26.33

Umm what! It's more expensive to purchase from Etude House Global store than it is to purchase from other stores that stock Etude House! To be fair, the pricing of the products is fine, but it's the shipping that kills me. I'm not sure if it's the same for other countries, so if you've shopped with Etude House Global, let me know how the shipping cost was for you!

Shipping and Packaging
I ordered on the 2nd of October and received my order on the 20th of October which is not too bad considering I shopped in their first day of opening! My order came in a super cute Etude House box (which was damaged by the couriers of course) and all of the products were safely wrapped in bubble wrap! Nothing was damaged in transit apart from the box, so I was quite happy with that!
They also included a little order form which is cute!
 Products
I'll quickly run through some first impressions of these products, obviously I haven't had them for very long so they will be rather vague! ^.^ Let me know as always if you would like to see any of these in a full review!

Ahh another of the Etoinette range! Am I addicted? Yes. This smells exactly like the Etoinette Perfume (very floral and rosey) and makes my hair smell delicious! I haven't noticed it making my hair shiny or moisturized, so I can't really comment on that just yet!
These are insanely cute! They're quite small little bottles but I just think the idea behind them is adorable!
The white polish actually has a striper brush (not a full brush) but the polish itself is really lovely and pigmented whereas the bottle of glitter has this little rubber scooper thing which makes the glitter stick to it to get it out of the bottle! It also works super well to pick up the glitter and place it on the nail. Those bunny faces are adorable though!
These mini tints are the perfect size for handbags, but I purchased them so I could try out the formula! I love mini sizes of cosmetics and skincare, because when have I ever used a whole lipstick? Kinda never to be honest!
I've only tried this colour so far, but I was very surprised by the formula of this product! I was expecting more of a watery stain, but they have quite creamy formula and aren't quite as pigmented as they come off on the skin. It's hard to describe!
I think I will do a separate review on these after I've tried the other colours!
I already knew that I love the Rosy Tint Lips, so I decided to grab two more! Number 8, After Blossom is one that I was struggling to find, so I decided to grab it while I could! It's not as dark of a colour as I thought it would be, but it's still gorgeous!
I'm not so sure about number 7! It sheers out to a lovely nude, but the full application looks quite orange/brown which is so not my thing!
With my order I got these super cute freebies! ^.^ There is a gorgeous pink tote bag and a whole bunch of sample packets!
 What I Love
- Great website (pretty and princessey!)
- Great range
- Should have newer releases faster than other stores (I assume)
- Cute boxed packaging (yeah, I love that)

What I Don't Love
- Expensive shipping

Final Thoughts
Even though I enjoyed shopping with Etude House Global, the shipping rate is a little high for me to be shopping there often. I would definitely shop with EHG if they had sales/free shipping promo or items that I couldn't get anywhere else! ^.^

Have you shopped with Etude House Global before? How was your experience?

Review: Cherry Culture

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about my shopping experience at Cherry Culture! ^.^

This is my second time shopping at Cherry Culture, but it's the first time I've done a group order myself! Generally, the shipping expenses are too high to shop alone (unless you're doing a huge bulk order!) so the PANZ group does semi-regular orders!
Browsing Cherry Culture is really easy, you can chose to shop by brand, or by feature (lips, face etc) which I really love! They mainly sell western drugstore products, but the majority of produts they sell you can't buy over the counter in NZ. In this order I seriously wanted to buy so much more, but my wallet cried the tears of the student life, so I restrained myself. (This time anyway)

NYX Powder Blush - Taupe
NYX Butter Gloss - Peaches and Cream
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream - Amsterdam & Sao Paulo
Cherry Culture Lip Balm - Raspberry (Free with order!)
LA Girl 3D Effect - Teal Dimension
(I actually bought 3 of these accidentally ><)

Things I Love
- Frequent Sales
- Cheap products
- Securely packed (never had broken goods)
- Products that are harder to find in NZ
- Easy to navigate website

Things I Don't Love
- Expensive and Costly Shipping
- Need to do group orders

Final Thoughts
I really liked shopping at Cherry Culture! I only shop there during their big sales to get the best price, (there are other NZ based stores that sell the same priced cosmetics), and when i do shop there, I do group orders for cheaper shipping. I think if Cherry Culture had cheaper (or free!) shipping, I would shop there a lot more often!
