First Impression: Skinfood Good Afternoon Honey Black Tea BB Cream in 1: Light Beige

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about the Skinfood Good Afternoon Honey Black Tea BB Cream! This horrendously long name means that this BB Cream is part of the Skinfood Good Afternoon BB Cream series. I've previously tried the Peach Green Tea BB Cream, and I'll compare the two at the end of this post!

First Impression: Skin79 Snail Nutrition BB Cream

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about the Skin79 Snail Nutrition BB Cream! It's taken me quite a while to review this BB Cream, since I swatched it in last years Sunday Swatches I knew that it was definitely too dark for my complexion. While this is even more true today than it was last year, I still wanted to try it for the Snail factor!
What Does It Do?

" snail secretion filtrate, titanium dioxide, phenyl trimethicone, zinc oxide, butylene glycol dicaprylate/dicaprate, orbignya oleifera seed oil, cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1dimethicone, butylene glycol, arbutin, cyclopentasiloxane, cyclohexasiloxane, magnesium sulfate, trimethylsiloxysilicate, aluminum hydroxide, stearic acid, dimethicone/vinyl dimethicone crosspolymer, sorbitan isostearate, calcium stearate, quaternium-18 bentonite, polyglyceryl-4 isostearate, hexyl laurate, triethoxycaprylylsilane, water, adenosine, tocopheryl acetate, hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) water, linaria japonica extract, anthemis nobilis flower water, aloe barbadensis leaf extract, centella asiatica extract, copper tripeptide-1, betula platyphylla japonica juice, beta-glucan, portulaca oleracea extract, imperata cylindrica root extract, sodium hyaluronate, glycine soja (soybean) sprout extract, magnolia kobus bark extract, mentha piperita (peppermint) leaf extract, malva sylvestris (mallow) extract, melissa officinalis leaf extract, primula veris extract, achillea millefolium extract, alchemila veronica officnalis extract, disodium EDTA, caprylyl glycol, ethylhexylglycerin, 1, 2-hexanediol, fragrance, CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499"(2)
This BB Cream is most suited to fair-medium skin tones. It's definitely too dark for my skin, and has quite a beige/grey undertone. It's moderately thick in texture, definitely not runny or solidly thick, and spreads out well on the skin. This BB Cream contains 45% Snail Mucin (which is a good thing, Snail Slime is great for your skin!!) but this doesn't make the BB Cream feel slimey at all.
I absolutely adore how this BB Cream sits on my skin. It's so forgiving on any dry skin, pores and uneven skin tone! If your dry skin is quite flakey it won't entirely hide this, but it doesn't make it appear worse which is a massive plus for me! I didn't experience any oil control issues, but it is important to note that my skin produces very little oil. This BB Cream stayed looking lovely throughout the day and didn't wear off or break apart in any places on my face. Yay!
The shade is pretty far off though. I could dilute this with a white foundation, but then the effect of the BB Cream would be diluted too. I liked how smooth the BB Cream made my skin feel and look, though I'm not sure how much the Snail Slime had to do with it!

Would I Purchase This Product?
No, but I really really want to. I really loved how this BB Cream feels on my skin, I love the finish, the coverage and how it makes my fine lines look smooth. But, it's just so, so the wrong colour!

I would definitely recommend this BB Cream to any Princesses that fit the colour range and don't have excessively oily skin! It really does have a gorgeous formula! ^.^

First Impression: ElishaCoy Always Triple BB Cream

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about the ElishaCoy Always Triple BB Cream! This BB Cream has been recommended to me by so many people because it's supposed to be quite pale, so I was really excited to try it out ^.^
What Does It Do?
"The ElishaCoy Always Triple BB SPF30/PA++ is a BB cream that will help you achieve a beautiful complexion through multiple superior skin care functions. It has a harmonious blend of caviar and royal jelly cream that whitens, improves wrinkles, and provides protection from harmful UV rays of the sun. Made from natural ingredients such as Royal Jelly Extract, Caviar Extract, Rose Hip Extract, Acerola Extract, Mulberry Extract, Portulaca Extract and Vitamin E supplements for more glowing and younger looking skin. 50 ml.

How to Use:
After daily skincare routine, apply a portion of the BB cream. Apply BB cream in an outward motion along the facial textures and gently pat to enhance absorption."(1)
This BB Cream is definitely more neutral toned than it is pink or yellow and starts out looking quite grey too. This grey tone does blend out, but it doesn't help to match my super yellow complexion.
I was quite surprised at how much coverage this BB Cream gave me! It is quite thick in texture and was a little hard to blend out with my fingers. Using a sponge gave me an easier application but also less coverage. My skin doesn't produce any oil at the moment, so I will update this oil control section once I have stopped taking acne medication. ^.^

It's not quite the right colour for my skin, but it's a really pale shade which is fantastic!
Two gripes that I had with this BB Cream is that it doesn't sit nicely on any flakey skin. This isn't to say that dry skinned Princesses cannot use this, just that if you have dry flakes on your skin it will emphasise that. It also creates a tarnish stain from my flute (silver) which you can see in the above photo. Not cute!

Would I Purchase This Product?
No. It's moderately expensive, but it's not really the right colour for my skin (it's really obvious when not in bright lighting), it doesn't sit well on flakey skin and it creates a gross tarnish stain when I play the flute, a daily activity for me. Honestly there are only a couple of things worse than finishing a performance and having this massive stain under your lip that you're not aware of for like, hours afterwards because nobody really wants to say anything about it, much like having lipstick on your teeth.

I would definitely recommend this BB Cream for Princesses that are quite fair, but more neutral toned rather than yellow toned that have quite smooth skin! ^.^

Review: Skinfood Peach Sake Pore BB Cream; 01 Light Beige

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be reviewing the Skinfood Peach Sake Pore BB Cream in the shade 01 Light Beige! I've had this BB Cream for quite a while and never used it too much for two reasons, in Winter it's not a great colour for me, but in Summer it's not a great formula for me. What? Find out what I mean below!
"Peach Sake Pore BB cream is a pore-refining cream that regulates sebum secretion while creating a flawless and matte complexion minus the greasy feeling. Add to that a 20 SPF sun protection factor, and you have one of Skin Food's most popular products on the market. The peach sake pore BB cream #1 is light beige in colour. while the #2 is more of a natural beige."(1)

The packaging comes with a pump as well as cover cap, which is fantastic for travel and hygiene! The BB Cream is quite thick and creamy which makes it feel really lovely on my dry Winter skin, but not so great only oily Summer skin.
This BB Cream comes in a massive 8 shades and I'm reviewing the lightest. From what I gather by reading reviews of the other colours, they are almost all very yellow toned. This colour is almost perfect for my Summer skin, but about one shade too dark for my Winter skin. There are ways to make this colour work for me in Winter, such as adding a white liquid mixer (thins out the coverage ugh) or a white powder (makes my face look too dry ugh) but it's not as good as using just the BB Cream by itself, because the formula is lovely, smooth and hydrating without being greasy.
I quite like the medium coverage this BB Cream provides, it doesn't cover all of my scarring but it does a really decent job! Because my skin doesn't product any oil at the moment (due to acne medication) this BB Cream stays looking exactly the same throughout the day. When I'm not on medication, during Winter it stays well, though my T-Zone will product a little oil, but during Summer my skin produces much more oil and my T-Zone is actually floating in oil which is gross!

What I Love
- Hydrating without feeling greasy
- Good oil control for semi-oily skin
- Really decent scar and pore coverage
- Easy to apply with fingers, sponge or brushes

What I Don't Love
- Too dark for my Winter skin
- Melts off my face in Summer
- Darker 6 shades are hard to find (discontinued)
Final Thoughts
This BB Cream just reminds me of all of my first world problems. It has the perfect formula for my dry winter skin (hydrating without being greasy, smooth coverage) but it's too dark. The colour is good for my darker summer skin, but it slides around my face too much due to the excess  oil. It is quite a bit of work to make this BB Cream look good on my skin which isn't ideal, but it has a really lovely formula, so if it's the right colour for your skin and you don't have super duper oily skin, I would definitely recommend it! ^.^

First Impression: BRTC Jasmine Water BB Cream

Hello Princesses!

Today I'm going to be talking about the BRTC Jasmine Water BB Cream! I've never tried any BRTC products since they're mostly skincare items, but this BB Cream was recommended to me since it's supposed to be quite pale! ^.^

What Does It Do?
The BRTC Jasmine Water BB Cream is a triple function BB Cream with whitening, wrinkle repair and water replenishment functions. It contains real jasmine flower extracts that provides strong moisture control resulting in luxurious skin. The BB Cream is excellent for a natural and radiant cover for the skin. It has strong oil control and will not clog pores. It is great for all skin types.

How to Use:

1. After cleansing, apply toner, eye cream, and then serum 2. Apply small dabs of bb cream on sections of the face and blend into the skin Tip: The Jasmine water BB Cream mixes really well and can be blended with the gold caviar bb cream for added anti-aging properties."(1)
This BB Cream is quite lovely and pale, but is more on the pink side which isn't so great for my yellow toned skin. It makes my skin look really lovely and smooth, especially over of my large pores and acne, but the coverage isn't quite enough for my dark acne scarring.
It has quite good lasting power, only looking a little glowy after 6 hours. The colour and coverage didn't wear or fade during the day and I didn't really feel the need to touch it up either which is great! I really love how easy this BB Cream is to apply and how gorgeous it looks on my skin!

Would I Purchase This Product?
No, but only because it looks too pink for the rest of my body! This BB Cream has sufficient coverage for light scars, covers pores gorgeously and lasts well throughout the day. It's easy to apply and just overall a lovely BB Cream to wear! I actually really like this product, I haven't been so impressed by a BB Cream in a while!

I would definitely recommend this  BB Cream for any pinky pale Princesses that are after a medium coverage, moderately long lasting BB Cream! It's an absolutely gorgeous product, and if it fits your skin tone you should grab some samples! ^.^
